Hello mate! Long time, no see!
Well, I'm not a Fenerbaçhe fan nor an AIK fan, but... as I'm Swedish, I hope that AIK will win. How about you and Djurgården vs FC København? Do you support Djurgården in that match because you're Swedish or do you want FCK to win because you hate Djurgården (since you're an AIK fan, I assume you hate DIF)?

Fenerbahce has Ariel Ortega, and Milan Rapajic. Could be tough for AIK.
I think Fenerbahce are pretty big favorites to win this match, but I guess AIK has a pretty good team too.

There's a tough line to draw there. AIK fans don't like Djurgården, but since we are all dependant on the UEFA ranking we need all the points we can get. So I hope for DIF to advance as long as AIK does the same. Btw, here is the strongest AIK line-up with no injuries or suspensions:
Daniel Andersson
Karl Corneliusson - Teddy Lucic - Per Nilsson - Jimmy Tamandi
Stefan Ishizaki - Krister Nordin - Svante Samuelsson/Martin Åslund - Mats Rubarth
Andreas Andersson - Andreas Alm
But since we have a lot of injuries, for example Alm is out with a long term injury, Samuelsson will be unavailable for the home tie on Sep 19 and instead Åslund will probably be fit. Alm is, and has been this season, replaced by Daniel Hoch, who has capped some impressive performances during the last two months.
Some personal comments on all the players in the probable starting line-up:
Daniel Andersson: Started the season a bit hesitative but has grown to a world class keeper during the last few months. Not as good as Recber but not far away.
Karl Corneliusson: A world class right back in 2000, was then injured in a freak accident; he slipped on his kitchen floor and cut his finger instead of some cucumber. Has struggled during the season.
Teddy Lucic: A world class defender. Those of you who followed the group of death will have noticed the Swedish left back. Almost scored against England and has a psychological advantage over Ortega whom he eliminated during Sweden-Argentina.
Per Nilsson: An up and coming defender who is about to turn 20. Not far away from the national squad.
Jimmy Tamandi: New signing who has been very good this season.
Stefan Ishizaki: Has the making of a future superstar. Has breathtaking skill and can show any player up to the stands. Free kick specialist.
Krister Nordin: Danish fans will know him. A summer signing who has played in AIK for seven years and was the master at midfield when AIK played in the Champions League 1999/2000 against greats as Barcelona, Arsenal and a world class Fiorentina. The only Swedish player to have scored with his club at Wembley (Arsenal-AIK 1999-09-21).
Martin Åslund: A good through pass player who has been injured but will probably be fit for the home tie.
Mats Rubarth: A dribbling phenomenon. His faked shots are impossible to read. Scored in the qualifier.
Andreas Andersson: A world class player. Hit the crossbar against Argentina and was allthrough impressive during the World Cup. Has a lot of international routine since 1996 when he scored against Milan at San Siro for example. Sent Sweden to the World Cup after scoring the decider against Turkey at the Ali Sami Yen Stadium, so he knows how to score in Istanbul.
Daniel Hoch: A talent who has bloomed. Scored three goals during the qualifying campaign and has been all out impressive for the last two months. Has the makings of a world class player.

I think AIK has every chance of winning this game. I think Fenerbahce is overrated. Feyenoord beat them relatively easy, and Feyenoord really isn't THAT good. They are strong as a team but individually they are not too good. Real Madrid exposed that quite well last night.

In the Turkish league I hate fenerbahce (as a gala fan) but in the UEFA competitions it is a different story. Wishing fener good luck in the UEFA Cup, looks like fener will win it at home and go to the next round.
hahaha im another galatasaray fan & well i hate fenerbahce .. period. heres some news for AIK fans ... rapaijc turned his back on the club & left to Italy (finally... what was he thinking?) Ortega is playing shyte copping critisizm (deserved) from everywhere even the fenerbahce players themselves because he gets too much money. Apparently Revivo is falling apart goin out visiting the clubs all night & Washington , the player they were comparing with SuPeR MaRiO JaRdeL is just plain shambles ...

Hahahaha Washington is not even near what JARDEL is. Ortega can't and won't do what Hagi did in the Turkish league and in the WC games for his country Romania. Jardel is 100 times better than Washington.

At the moment Fenerbahce playing against Elazispor and fener is winning 2-1
I hope AIK loses 8-nil and all their players are injured for the rest of the season.

well... even a fantaic Fener fan would have to agree with it.
I think Washington is a flop... he was suposed to be a kind of replace
for Andersson, but... at least Andersson had the position & experience.
as for Ortega... hmm... he's a tricky player, so only time will tell.
I think he got what it takes to be the next idol of Fener's fans.
overall, Fener got really weaken after the championship couple of years ago,
the players are still good, but there's somrthing missing there...
maybe a fighting spirit, to have not only Ogun, Johnson & Stevic
kick as*es, but all the players should run like crazy on the pitch,
that's what it take to make a talented team to a champion team.

About Super Mário, I just want to let you all know that he's back from Brazil and already going through a special recovering period to resume his career with Sporting Lisbon.
I'm glad, because he's a fantastic striker, but this also proves that he has no respect for his fans or for himself.
