AI free kicks

is there a way to mod fifa so that the AI doesn't score on every free kick, like in the ai.ini file or something? i already put the keeper difficulty all the way up to professional but that didn't help much...

i'm trying to get the "most clean sheets" sponsor bonus on my manager mode game but even with a 5-4-1 formation, the AI has scored 21 out of 25 of their last free kicks against me. delpiero scored a hattrick on me with just free kicks. some 2.5 star serie B team did the same against me. it's almost impossible to keep a clean sheet when the AI scores on every free kick 30m or closer

put the keeper up to world class, thats all the way up.

dont foul them techguy, but get the wall to jump & rush
the kick taker & you have a chance to block the shot.

switch to the keeper & place him in the center of goal on
his line to give him a better chance to stop it.

i have problems blocking free kicks by andrea pirlo, so i be
the keeper when i play ac milan & stop a majority of them.

i have short players on my team (AS Roma FC) so jumping usually doesn't work for me. i've been switching to keeper and putting him closer to near post but it's annoying because i have to switch to mouse control to click on him to select him then switch back to keyboard control when i'm done. is there a button the keyboard to switch to keeper? the "tips and hints" thing says press X but that doesn't work for me even tho i don't have it mapped to anything...

in this video, the free kick taker was maccarone of AC Siena with a FK rating of 64 (AI controlled). my defending keeper was akinfeev of AS Roma with an overall rating of 87. even though maccarone had such a low free kick rating, and my keeper was one of the best in the game, the AI still scored on a free kick of such tight angle...

game difficulty was on professional. keeper difficulty was on world class. it's impossible to keep a clean sheet in FIFA 09 if the AI scores on 9 out of 10 of their free kicks. i hope EA sports fixes this in FIFA 10...

i switched "ABSOLUTELY_PERFECT_GOALIES" in my ai.ini files from 0 to 1, hopefully that helps. i dont think keeper difficulty affects your own keeper. my keeper still lets in easy goals whereas the opposition keeper makes the most ridiculous of saves. even on "world class" difficulty, my keeper still can't make saves for sh*t

maybe it's just me but when I saw that clip I blamed it on the wall's poor placement. The rule has always been that the wall protects the near post and your wall seemed to be off the post thus allowing Maccarone's shot.

wall was one click towards the near post =\. if i did two clicks (max), i risk letting go a curled cross towards the middle of the penalty box or the far post. but even so, keeper should've saved that. he's rated 87 for crying out loud =\ and maccarone is a 78 with a FK rating of 64. i feel completely helpless when it comes to defending AI free kicks, even if i manually control the keeper and place him at the center, he still concedes soft goals on free kicks... it's not so much that the AI free kicks are good (they usually arent). it's more like the keeper can't do squat against free kicks
