At the Hargreaves and Nani press conference, Fergie said the deal is almost done. United want full clarification on every detail as well.

It's a shame Ferguson didn't think of that BEFORE he done a deal with the player and his agent behind West Hams back.

I do believe that is called TAPPING UP, is it not?....Yes it is.

Magnusson's comments were meant to cover his back, instead of pointing out that they never had contact with Tevez. Jia said that he will benefit more from the Tevez transfer, that alerted the FA, so they inquired West Ham and Magnusson then decided to respond by putting blame on somebody else. Fact is, West Ham claimed that Tevez is fully theirs, then Jia claimed that Tevez is still his, so now Magnusson is ****ed and tries to save his skin through the media.

Henry and his agent said the exact same thing and 2-3 weeks later he is in Barca confirming something that was so aggresively denied by himself.

Oh its "JIA" now is it. Cosy huh?

No point in trying to avoid the issue mcq. This aint about who spends what. This is about Ferguson doing a deal behind West Hams back with the players agent.

Just because "JIA" tells Ferguson that its ok to do business then that makes it OK does it? Don't you think Man U might have checked with West Ham first? That would not have been too dificult.

Whether West Ham lied about the ownership of Tevez or not is NOT the point. The point is that Man U did not even contact West Ham to find out.

Look don't take all this so personal FFS.

Any or all parties could be lying I admit, so lets just wait and see whatcomes out as time goes by huh?

Judging by the thread title I thought this would be an apt thread to voice any comment on the alledged Tevez transfer. A good thread is not about everyone cosying up and agreeing with each other all the time. So try and have a varied discussion about it without resorting to childish wisecracks.

This was not meant to antagonise anyone but some of you boys are just so fu<kin' defensive, that anything that doesn't follow the party line gets met with sneers and abuse. Agree with me....disagree with me, I don't care, but just keep it calm .

who knows whether this goes through or not, I thought West Ham ripped up their contracts with MSI so any deal with them would be worthless. West Ham will probably have to pay them compensation , I'm not sure if it would make Tevez's contract invalid. But anyway I think we will be waiting a while before this is resolved.

Is this not the same pede that complains about the media making up crap about chelsea 24 7? You have as much idea as the rest of us about these deals. You've already made yourself look stupid by claiming this story as 100% bullsh*t. Stop now before you completely contradict yourself :ewan:

Well, whatever the hell his name is.

The main point is that Magnusson is as likely to be lieing about having no contact with United as he is telling a truth, so like you said, we don't know anything on this issue and will have to wait and see.

But you shouldn't have accused United of Tapping up and then say that you are totally unaware of what's really going on in this.

I believe that FIFA only allow that a player is owned by a Club, not by a person...so i think ManU must pay West Ham...or Corinthians maybe.

pede, why can't you just agree with the rest of the world that manchester united is the greatest thing on this planet?
and that noone that is involved with the club has ever done anything wrong, made a wrong decision, is gay or, god may help us, a diver?

Well i must admit that the silence from West Ham over all of this has been deafening. Either they have nothing more to say about it or, they are preparing for life in the Championship. Because one thing is certain. Either West Ham OR Man U are lying.

If West Ham are telling the truth, then this still bears all the hallmarks of a tapping up case . From what little we know Man U have had NO contact with West Ham at any time over this. Both clubs involved have said this. Now, as far as all of us are concerned, West Ham own/owned Tevez. The first thing Man U should have done is talk to West Ham and NOT the players agent. Dont forget, we have actually heard Ferguson saying that Man U are dealing with the players representatives. No mention of West Ham at all.

If West Ham are lying about everything, then they are in deep deep sh.it, and as long as Man U buy the player, thereby freezing out his agent's company, I cant see anything wrong with the deal, (legally wrong I mean, not morally wrong).

I feel the same way about dodgy agents whenever I hear Zahavi's name linked with Chelsea. These people are scum for the way they treat our clubs. They are parasites who make their money off all of us. They are loyal to nobody but themselves, and the EPL or the FA need to find a way quickly to exclude these people from our game.

Whenever they show up, the sh.it hits the fan. They are bad news and anyone who actually deals with them are of dubious moral character as far as I am concerned.

The fan boys dont give a crap about morality though. Thats too deep for them. They only understand that they want a player at their club, and they really do not care how he gets there. Pity really.

West Ham have been trying to buy Bellamy for a while and now got him, so they definietly knew that Tevez is leaving for sure, which throws out Magnusson's comments about Tevez being a West Ham player next season, right out the window.

Keegan: your little match-fixing, Sheffield United relegation conspiracy was retarded and had no facts to support it, i gave you 10 to prove otherwise, so give it a rest already. Life goes on.

Not at all. Don't forget, West Ham are now a pretty rich club themselves. Why shouldn't they want to buy Bellamy and also KEEP Tevez? They can afford the wages easily now so I dont see what bearing your point has at all.
