Lybia has done nothing but defend after the goals. I wouldn't be surprised to see a third.

Two victories for Ivory Coast :) Allez, les Élephants!

What a funny Moroccan team. Ever since 2004, they're going down like mad. No confidence at all, no more passing, weak defense and they can barely score a goal. It's clearly not the same team. A good coach is needed.

I predict 1 or 2-0 for Egypt.

FT: Egypt 0:0 Morocco.

Boring as hell. None of both teams deserved anything from this match.

*Yaaawn*.

I really tought that Italy was playing...the only good thing we can say from both teams is good defending...

P.S: That left-back of Egypt is a very nice player!

Angola and Togo haven't impressed me so much so far. How did they get into the WC :|

Well, don't ask me cos I don't know myself. If I would guess, it is probably the way CAF has setup the world cup qualifying. It is sad that none of the African team would stand a chance in reaching the second stage in the world cup. All the teams suck except for Ghana. Cameroon, Nigeria and Senegal look so impressive, it is still difficult to accept their exclusion from Germany in the summer.

Kingston, Beye Out of Tournament

The Confederation of Africa Football have handed four-match bans and $1000 fines to Senegal’s Habib Beye and Ghana’s Laryea Kingston after they were sent off for fighting in the MTN Africa Cup of Nations Group D clash on Friday in Port Said.

Both players will miss the rest of the MTN Africa Cup of Nations. They clashed in the second half of the game, which Ghana won 1-0.

Kingston appeared to take a swipe at Beye, who then had a go back, with Kingston collapsing theatrically to the ground. Beye, earlier, played down the incident, and accused Kingston play-acting.

“I didn’t deserve the red card,” he said.

“It was just a small contact between me and the Ghanaian player.

“That should have got me a yellow card but the referee did not see what happened and and the other player over-dramatised the whole thing.

“It was as if he were in a movie”.
