I'm sure they'll realise that we need him for the titlerace and the CL.
I would say NOT FOR SALE!
But like i said if we sell him we need someone else real fast but who???

It seems that Real Madrid made a bid for Wesley for 24M you must be f*cking joking surely? 4 more than Ryan Babel to Liverpool.
Wesley is a far more complete player than Ryan Babel and much more important to us WE NEED HIM THIS SEASON!
Ajax would be mad to agree with the sell one week before the most important games of the season
24M is too low, offer ten more and who knows, personally I'm hoping that Wesley will keep his word and stays with us but if a club like Real Madrid comes for him with a big bag of money who knows.. :boohoo:
Madrid is gunning for him since Chelsea is refusing the Robben deal
IF we sell him (and I hope to god we won't) then we need a replacement YESTERDAY but who on earth can replace a player like Wesley??
Riquelme?? he's only 7M so that's easy but like i said we have to do everything in our power to keep Wes

Wesley is a beast, a superb player, but not more than 25 mil. Ajax got a fantastic deal with Babel (who is overrated, and isnt worth more than 12/13 mil) but dont take that as a standard. I really understand you though, because Ajax doesnt have someone who can replace him. They had someone, but he went to PSV and we all know that THAT was VERY stupid of Ajax. And I think that they are going to be sorry they sold Perez.

But the board of directors only see dollarsigns and have no heart for the club bastards Fontijn f*ck off and Jaakke go with him traitor!!
The only good man in the board is Martin van Geel, he has heart for the club so I'm sure he will think twice before letting Wes go and Ten Cate........he will never agree to it cause he wants to form a team around him this season.
If sneijder leaves it could mean at least 10 to 15 goals less

Well I think more than 10/15....he scores like 10/15 himself and gives like freakin 20 assists a season. It would be a big blow and will cost Ajax everything if they sell him. Real will have a great player in him. I wouldnt mind having him, but I completely understand you're worried. I dont see mitchell donald replace him. lol

We had no choice with Perez really, he wanted to leave himself because at the time it didn't seem as though he would be getting anymore playing time.

Oh and actually I do rate Ribery and Sneijder atleast the same. After all he's the one that almost single-handedly led us to the cup, the CL and one goal away from the title. Definetly worth 25m atleast IMBO. I'm sure that if Real comes with an offer like that both Ajax and Sneijder won't refuse it. But as I said it would blow up our season before it even started, cause I can't see anyone replacing him.

Are you kidding me? "ANYWHERE NEAR"?! Ribery had a good World Cup, he showed flashes of brilliance in France and Turkey, but Sneijder has consistently been one of the best players in Holland and in the UCL whenever Ajax is involved. Surely the Dutch league's level is below that of France's, but superstars from Holland always go on to star abroad as well, especially someone with such consistent impact like Wesley. You cannot simply judge and say that Wes is not "anywhere near" Ribery.

Bad feeling about that Real thing..:boohoo: i hope they will sign roben (about 30mln) and will f*ck off from Wesley. About Suarez - i'm really glad to see that we signed him. we needed left winger so badly. now the squad looks completely finished (of course if we won't lose Wes). And 7.5mln for Suarez isn't too much if you ask me. after 2 years his worth will be double. this is our best signing this summer, no doubt for me

Ajax has confirmed a bid on Wesley today and also that he is very interested and he really wants to join Real Madrid so it's only a matter of time I think.
Mijatovic is in Amsterdam at the moment and Real is preparing a higher bid for him (around 28/29M) cause our Technical Manager wants the highest price for him and if not then no deal! But for Wesley's sake he's hoping the clubs can come together and as I understand it now Ajax is already in search for a replacement for a few weeks.
So I think it won't be Robben but Wesley Sneijder who goes to Madrid.
We will miss him very very much but everyone is replacable, he is also and we get a lot of money for him to get a replacement.
Still I'm hoping he stays but that's just wishfull thinking I guess.. :boohoo:

Real needs to make a move fast, if Wesley plays for us on wednesday against Slavia Prague he would become useless for them cause then he's not allowed to play in the CL for Real Madrid.
Our coach already said to the media that he's planning to start WITH Sneijder so they better move in fast. "If Wesley is still with us, he will play it's that simple" according to HtC.

That's not entirely truth, at least that's not what i heard from a Marseille fan.

No offense but obviously you haven't followed the Eredivisie alot. Many people including people who hate Ajax agreed that Sneijder was by far the best player last season. I'm getting sick and tired of people assuming the Eredivisie is like second best to the Andorian first division when they don't even follow it. Don't talk about things you don't know.

Well, the level of the Eredivisie is miserable really. Some mediocre Spanish team (Getafe) just brush aside midtable teams with ease, while they have started later than those Dutch clubs.

So who's going to replace Sneijder you reckon? Boussouffa?

Well, uhmm, I live in Holland and I do know where im talking about. I'v seen almost all the games of Ajax, PSV and AZ. I gotta say that even if I dont like Ajax I still think Sneijder was the best player last season. But dont say that the Dutch Eredivisie is sooo good. Because its not. Its an average league. Nothing more nothing less. But now i'v said it, Sneijder was the best, but that doesnt make him worth 30! mil! Come on! 25 at most, because a few weeks back he was valued 18 mil by Ajax.

Well anyway, Ome Henk seems to accept Sneijder is leaving. He says we'll be able to compete for the title and qualify for the CL without him anyway, but I must say I highly doubt that. He still isn't officially gone yet though.

No problem I think that there is a possibility that he leaves, and Henk is just using that to move the pressure away from the team. Because he knows very well that if Sneijder leaves that they are without any creativity in midfield.

Apparently Ajax want our players Afellay and/or Aissati to replace Sneijder Can't see it happening, although there is a small chance for Aissati I think.

Guys, good news, I guess. Real Madrid has withdrawn their bid for Wes. At first Ajax demanded 30m for him. The board lowered this to 27m, but Real didn't want to pay more than the original 24m.

Wonder how Wesley himself will react to this, but than again he promised to stay so he can't go whine now. Still the 31st of August seems very far away...

Well if HtC starts with Wesley on wednesday like he's planning to do than he's not usefull anymore to RM, I've read that Real is now gunning voor van der Vaart and that they are very close to a deal as well

Simple win against psv today for the JC but it was of no importance really, wednesday is the game that counts.
Good goal from Gabri again (he's on a roll these last few weeks), Rommedahl hit the post after he totally outplayed Simons :P
Hunter was very close to the 2-0 but Gomes kept his goal clean and I have to say with a brilliant rescue.

3 years in a row winner now our first price is a fact, hopefully one or two more this season :mexican:
