its not Inter's fault, it's the "curse" :D

(these kinda jokes have gotten lame :()

actually this transfer also had very little mention (in Italy) as well, but it directly said Ajax were the club close to securing Coco.

I dont think Inter will ask for any/much money. Earlier rumours suggested he was heading to Everton though. We'll see what happens.

you are basically legendary Maldini's heir and you join Milan's biggest rival.
He was a part of Milan's offer for Seedorf... he didnt have much choice.

hmmmmm as I recall Inter broke more careers like the one from Andy van der Meyde for instance. They benched him all the damn time :boohoo:
Coco would be a welcome addition to the team IMO oh and btw PSVforever (hum hum) next week the supercup (Johan Cruyff-schaal) Ajax-PSV, we will see who is the better team at the moment but I feel confident that the price stays in Amsterdam this time :ewan:
Anyway may the best team win!

Meh, you know the JCS isnt considered as a real match, besides you have a much more important match a few days after. Dont deny it isnt a real match, the same was said by you after last year's 4-2. Im still confident PSV will win though, even though it may not seem so.

Well I just read this story and Blind stated that there will be a new signing within a few days, could well be Coco since he is keen on going to Ajax it seems. Again other teams like Bolton, Everton and Olympiakos are after a player but he wants to go to Ajax just like Rosenberg who only wanted to go to Ajax :) Good to see that players abroad love to come to Ajax!

This is the story from Skysports:

Francesco Coco has confirmed that he favours a move to Ajax rather than Olympiakos.

The talented Italian defender has been a long-term target for the Greek giants but Coco has stated his preference for a move to Holland.

Inter coach Roberto Mancini has already informed the player that he has no future in Milan but it remains to be seen where Coco will be plying his trade next season.

Olympiakos are believed to be leading the chase in terms of negotiations with their Italian counterparts but reports have claimed the player is already in Holland to talk with Ajax officials.

Now the last part is interesting, he could be in Holland already for negotiations and if that's the case it's only a matter of time till Ajax presents the new defender ;)

btw: Diego Maradona has landed on Schiphol airport last night to watch the game Ajax vs Boca on sundaynight :D

Coco to Inter would be great. He'd be actually a real leftback because as we all know, there are no real leftbacks in the Eredivisie. Maxwell can't defend for ****, the same goes for Lee... you'd have to go back to a guy like Arthur Numan to find a real leftback who would actually defend quite well. That's exactly what you'd have with a player like Coco. I'm kinda worried though because he's only played 6 games in the last two years. I don't want him to be another Woodgate.

Pienaar is about to sign a new contract since he told the board he wants to stay with Ajax for a few years more. So he is not for sale :p and negotiations have been opened again between both parties.

Coco has always been one of my favourite players and its been tragic how bad his injury problems have been. On his day, hed be Italy's starting LB and move Zambrotta up to RM.

Im glad he's going to Ajax over some mediocre English team (Bolton, Charlton, Everton) or an obscure club (Olympiakos, Galatasaray), all of which he'd probably be forgotten in Lippi's eyes. If he stays healthy Im sure he'll relaunch his career at Ajax. (Y)

I dont mind them (Stekelenburg and Trabelsi) being injured vs. PSV, but I do want Ajax to win vs. Brondby, we need those points, so we can give Feyenoord a chance in the CL again (H) With 1 and 2 only in the CL, it will almost always be Ajax and PSV.

Coco is a gd defender but injuries make the things worst

That's why Ajax has decided not to go through with it so no Coco, Blind has one full week to get a leftback otherwise we will have to do with the players that we have right now and seeing the game against Boca yesterday i doubt it will be enough

Ajax-PSV right now...

First half was dull but Boukhari looked good. Bouma scored in the 52 minute to make it 1-0 for PSV....

Just got back from the stadium and it was awesome guys what a party :bouncy: We laughed in the faces of the PSV fans the whole 2nd half :bob:
Ajax played fantastic in the 2nd half but I guess you saw that on SBS ;)
Boukhari was clearly the man of the match, that 2nd goal where he did a one-two with Babel was great what a goal!
Finally a win against PSV for JC schaal YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSs
A good start for the season and next week is Brondby IF which will be a totally different game but for now we celebrate cause we BEAT PSV :D
Ajax ruled in the 2nd half and after the freekick that went in from Boukhari I felt we really could win this but de Jong scored a goal earlier what should've been allowed goddammit the refs start this season as always BLIND AS BATS!

Here are a few pics for your enjoyment :)
