Ah guys I had a blast at de ArenA tonight the atmosphere was amaaaazing. F-Side and vak 420 kept singing and chanting during the whole game. My voice is almost gone as well ;)
The game itself was not that great but 3 points is most important at this stage of the season. Now let's see if psv and AZ can keep it together, the pressure is in their corner now.
2 games to go and who knows let's keep our fingers crossed!
GO AJAX :mexican: :bob: :bouncy:

Yeah Nikki did good, he was barely in the game and scored his goal within minutes after a great attack that started with Perez and Wesley.
The finals of the Dutch Cup are awaiting us on the 6th of may against either NAC or AZ. I'm hoping for NAC myself cause AZ is stronger I fear.
Wesley Sneijder was awesome for us, his freekick was superb and he had a few other chances as well, I'm afraid he's about to leave Ajax but I'm still hoping that the won't.
Another player who was fantastic yesterday was Ogararu, he was simply unbeatable in the back and a rock that stood in the way of the RKC attackers (Y) if the Romanian coach Piturca can't see him for what he is which is a fantastic defender he's a great fool indeed.
On to the weekend when we play at home against Sparta Rotterdam, I'm sure we'll win that as well and let's hope that psv and AZ will drop points in their last games ;)

Now for some news: The nr 14 will never be worn again by another player in Ajax out of respect and because of the 60th birthday of Johan Cruyff, our legend with nr 14 :)

lol NAC didn't come close. I think we can definitely beat AZ in the cup final. We did turn it up against tough oppositioin like PSV and Twente, not to mention F-noord, but then again, they aren't really a tough team anymore. We definitely have more quality than AZ. They didn't stand a chance against Werder, whereas we gave them a good series.

I agree AZ is tough but we can beat them and defend the title once again.
Did you guys know that Ajax is the best functioning team in the whole of history where it concerns cupfootball in Hollland. We won the cup 16 times and psv only 10 times :mexican:

NOW CHECK OUT OUR NEW AWAYGEAR FOR NEXT SEASON I REALLY LIKE IT (Y)

today's best news is that PSV not gonna win the title! :bob: it's better AZ then PSV. definetly. and we still have a little, little, but still hope. let's crash willem (as always) and pray for excelsior :mexican: i didn't see our game today and i was a bit worried when result became 3-2, but everything ended good :bouncy:

Come on Excelsior!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, it's always such a relieve when you watch an international game and you get this referees who actually do make sense.

Though the 4-2 was probably too make up for that stupid decision at the 3-2.

Happy birthday Cruijff in advance (Y) Tonight's a long special about him on Nederland 3. I love Holland Sport, they make a great program: today: Cruijff and the season he spent at Feyenoord. Only they would celebrate his birthday this way...

Im not gonna talk about the league though...Nothing sensible to say really...nothing sensible about the whole league really.

Never in history has it been this exciting since professional football in the Netherlands was founded :o
AND MITEA SCORES AGAIN! Just on the pitch for a few minutes and he scored a good goal after a great assist by Wesley.
Good game I had a blast in Amsterdam, especially when the news came that Utrecht scored against psv bye bye title :p
So it's up to AZ and us to win the title, we have to score more than 7 goals in Tilburg against Willem II provided that AZ won't score but they score every game so it's hard to say it but my cards on AZ I think they will win it at the end due to goalcount. BUT...you never know maybe Excelsior can pull of a stunt at their own stadium now wouldnt that be great cause even if they draw and we win (which we will cause we always win away vs Willem II) then we will win the league after all.
Fingers crossed once again guys and root for our guys.

After the game against AZ there was an award ceremony:
- Best player of the season: Wesley Sneijder
- Best talent: Ryan Babel

We will play in our new Awaykit for next season against Willem II this sunday btw.

Tomorrow D-Day for Eredivisie football!
We still have a chance but AZ needs to lose or draw and I doubt that's gonna happen :boohoo:
But while there is still hope who knows what can happen cause strange things happened already.
I will be there in Tilburg tomorrow to cheer and root for the lads let's hope for the best and if we finish in second place we will still be in front of psv so that's a plus. But then we have to play play-off games and probably against Heerenveen or Feyen... not a big problem as we already trashed 010 twice this year (H)

Actually I'd rather play Feyenoord than Heerenveen in the play-offs, seriously.

Oh and to be fair it isn't exactly D-Day tommorow. Actually last week was. Tommorow it will be AZ, trust me, followed up by Ajax and PSV(who will draw or lose against Vitesse).

that doesnt say much though: last season Feyenoord beat you twice in the regular league and ended 3rd, Ajax ended 4th and beat Feyenoord twice in the play-offs...The playoffs are pretty random. I think the nr.4 or nr.5 actually have advantage. Both PSV and Ajax won't be motivated for the play-offs I think, as they both fought for the title, on the other hand Twente and Feyenoord/Heerenveen/Roda/Groningen will be up for the play-offs as that's what they fought for.

2007.04.29 - tragical sunday.. i'm still in shock.. this shouldn't happen, just shouldn't.. i could deal with the fact that AZ would win the title, but PSV.. no man, this is so fu*king unfair..

Yeah I agree it totally sucks only 1 goal more was enough to win us the title but we failed it's as simple as that. Congrats to psv although I preferred AZ to win it and not them. Good win against Vitesse with 5-1 so in the end they are the stronger team it's hard but that's life. Vitesse should've been given a penalty in the last few minutes it was a clear foul but the referee was scared to give it I guess.. :boohoo:
Now we have to focus on the Cupfinal against AZ and the play-off games against Heerenveen. Heerenveen will not be easy to beat since they have Alves who scored 4 times!! against Feyen... today.
The good news is that Feyeno.. finished in 7 place hahahahahaha not even subtop.
Too bad it wasn't meant to be this season although we grew stronger as a team, now we have to go for the CL qualificationrounds and finish the season at least with a price against AZ.

Next season we'll get revenge, if we manage to keep Wes. Otherwise...

Well let's just focus on the play-offs now, I just hope that the lads can get their moral back up after this massive blow. But it's atleast good to know you can never get worse than Feyenoord, lol. I don't even think they will make it to that UEFA Cup spot.
