Advices needed---Union Berlin

Just started a game with Union Berlin of Germany..they are in the Regional North Division...no funds for me as they only have a pathetic balance of £1..will post some screens soon..

maybe you could just sell pathetic players at high prices, and buy decent people or get them on bosman (next season),
invest in youth

Cerci, Kakalov, Tsigalko, West, Jean Dika, Sorin, etc... I dont know how much transfer funds you got but these players are good in any division (except for Dika).

He said he had a balance of £1 so his transfer funds but be like 20p Um maybe you can get a few players on loan?

Kristjansson too! Try to get Oliseh on a free, and see if Welsh is available on loan. Ger Mellor and you'll be laughing too, your Czech striker has got too bad a physical stats to be a good striker

haha this is going old school. We had a CM Challenge on 01-02 where everyone had to be Union Berlin. That was ages ago.

You should avoid guys around the 30's region, IMO.

I find that young guys with potential, even if their stats aren't that good, do very well in lower leagues.

When I started out my game with Espinho, I brought in a young Portuguese striker called Alex, he was about 15, had some good potential, played 30 games and scored 18 in the league, of course after I got promoted he played less of a part as I gained more cash, but he still showed me that young potential players are much better than old players who have some ability.

Actually I like to bring in youth players, but keep them in the reserves and give them a game every now and then, while letting the older experienced guys and on loan players get you into the next division. Only put youngsters into the first team if they are ready, or you have fitness problems. That worked very well for me with Rushden in 00/01. Richard Naylor on loan was a god.
