i looked this morning and i had "that smell is your dinner burning" which is quite funny because i've actually burnt my dinner while playing champ man before due to forgetting how long i'd been at the computer!!

i dont think he did that.. i think it has problems with numbers sometimes, perhaps if the time goes backwards on your computer in daylight savings, or the date gets reset somehow. Or maybe he put in so much time it lost count! LOL

It wosn't done with photoshop, thats the one i was on about, i think he only just created the saved game. My pc isn't great with times anyhow

Jesus! Most i've had is 3 days in 2006...

but usually i leave CM running in the background if i use full screen, because for some reason, when I "Switch User" on XP, when I log on again, my windowed CM doesnt work.

there was a thread about it not to long ago, its strange no-one knows why or how it does that very dissapointing, its something to do with the graphics set up of Direct x in Xp. Quite strange. I run 98se so it doesn't affect me but when I used it on 2000 all i had to do was click on a button which took me to another page and i could see it again, try that

Yeah, chances are, whilst CM was running, u set the clock back a couple of months.
Then when u saved it was that long BEFORE it was loaded, and so it got confused.

ive had my CM go black a few times, it seems to happen whenever your screen gets turned into 32 bit colour because CM can't run in 32 bit. Usually happens with screensavers for me. I just change the screenmode back to 16 bit and it pops back into life.

Have you checked to make sure your running windows in 600*800 mode? I think that is the way it is supposed to run, I play in windowed mode too. I believe that i am using 600*800, 16 bit colour.

yuck, imagine running windows in 800x600 all the time !!! Your icons must be the size of small dogs!

i run 1600x1200 so with Champ Man in a window, it looks all smooth rather than blocky.

hmm.. 17" is fairly big, usually those can go up to 1280x1024..

really i didn't realise, Its a very good model!
Its a Compaq P75, ex-corprate so. I've never had a problem with apart from the time i put a lamp on top of it and the magnet effected it
