I have a league up and running , not a ML just Leauge. SO in setting it up I picked the optoin (to make it a bit more real) Accumulated Fatigue! If you have not done this before don't bother, it does not seem to affect the CPU teams in the league only your own? I have just played Liverpool who are sitting top of the leauge with Owen the top goalscorer. His performance and that of his team tells me that AF only works on your own team. I played C.Sutton for about 4 games on the trot a fit player more than able play 1 game a week and putting himself about all game long. Not with AF, 5th game after 15min he could hardly run, a loose ball 6or7yrds from him, I pressed sprint to get it a defender about 12yrds away got to it first. As for Owen and Liverpool 1-0 up I score from a corner kick 1-1 40seconds later Owen penalty i only brought my player across to cover the run I never pressed any buttons, down he goes and off I go 2-1 great work by the CPU. Then again 15mins later same player same result 3-1 and down 2 players. Yet sliding tackle after sliding tackle and being knocked over, nothing!
The best one of all, i was attacking and defender booted the ball down the middle, my Defender in the middle of his own half with only Owen coming to him and jumping wih for the high ball, I see one of my players just inside or half out on the wing about 20yrds away, so I angle the stick to him and press the button. I win the header and the ball goes in his directon, standing alone no one near him the ball comes down half way between him and the player who headed it! I land on my asre Owen lands on his feet and is off and running to the ball , which has already landed and is rolling towards my player how i have already highlighted and am bringing towards the ball. I am pressing sprint and yet Owen who was in the air when the ball was headed out there still got to the ball first .......TOTALLY UNREAL!"
As is most of the CPU players Challenges Tackles Dribbling and Shooting, not to meantion goal saving block from nowhere!
another examle of this I had 2on1 the player on the ball I was coming up the middle 35yrds from goal, I keep moving forward and wait until i see that the player in front of me who was backing off trying to cover my other forward who was 6or7yrds to the side of him (onside) I keep moving forward, then he decieds he needs to stop backing off and come out and challenge me. I wait until the last moment as he is about to stick his boot out and tackle me I pass the ball to the side and let me other forward in for a run into the Pen/box. The same player who come off my other forward to come out and challenge the player on the ball, still managed to try a tackle and turn and run after my player closing in on the pen/box in the clear and still get a challenge in...CAN ONLY BE DONE WITH CPU PLAYERS.
I am not looking for an easy win,game whatever.. but I am looking for a bit of reality. 2 teams of equal ability say the commentators should be a close one ( yeah that will be right ) How many times have "You" in playing this game? got to a loose ball before a CPU player. How many have caught a ball running out for a throw. How many of you have been clear in the Pen/box and with a good or very good forward and pressed the shot button only for nothing to happen , you press and press and it only works when a defender(s) in range to block your shot! How many of you have put tackles in with good defenders only to see the ball move inches behind the player you tackeld only for them to spin and come again. How many of you have put in tackles just like the one on you mins before only to get a foul against or worse a yellow or red card.
Don't get me wrong , THIS IS THE BEST FOOTBALL SIM out there!

But that should not hide the facts that there are thing wrong in this game. Just because it might look bad to say these things( and look like your giving something to the FIFA fans) this is not about looking bad or saying this is a bad sim ..ITs NOT! Its saying yes this is the best out there .....BUT IT HAS FAULTS TOO! and to ignore them so you don;t give FIFA FANS AMMO .. is the wrong way to go about it.
Things that need fixed..
Keepers ( nothing that bad about them, and its just same with FIFA, they dive down all wrong. They dive to the worng side of a player on the ball. if its on his right foot they come out and make a dive to the left of him, and thats not because the player has sold the keeper a dummy, they do it every time.)
AI ( not the CPU teams ) but the AI on the team that you are playing. Loose balls unhighlighted player in your team just standing looking at it. OK you have to try and Hightlight him and go after it, but how many times have you tired to highlight a player and bring him under control only for the Player Icon to jump between 2 of your other players and not the one you want to highlight.
Collision detection ( to many times you "brush" against a player and he downs down... admit it ... how many of your great moves and been busted because of this? Got this one of saved reply.. my forward closing down the keeper, the toe of the keepers boot is just about on the ball streaching to clear it, my forward has his boot turned sideways on across the "Whole" of the ball. The forward is 6ftPlus at least 13st and his weight behined the block. The keeper knock the ball around the forward brushes around him and dives on the ball. I played it over in replay, in close up I stop it at the point of contact. The ball is at this point trapped between them, on one side the toe of the keepers boot on the other the boot of my forward side on across the whole of the ball. What happend next? Frame by frame I nudge it on, and in close up the ball ever so slowly melts into my players boot and bottom part of his leg. I stop it a few frames in and my player no longer has a foot at the end of his leg but a ball. I move the frames on and the ball passes though leather/skin/bones to emerge on the other side of my players boot on run slightly behind him for the keeper to dive on and save. Who says the CPU doesn't cheat.. Ive got proof.

) Im happy again, see what a few wins can do for you. Since I was a kid kicking a ball about the streets ( jumpers for goalposts and laced up leather ball ) I'd argue that black an blue that the ball hit the post if even part of the ball hit the arm of the jumper. I just hated being beat and that has lasted all this time, a bit more mellow now ..not much. So with these 2 wins I am sitting in 7th place just 9 points of the lead with 7 games to go.
