I'm so ******* happy I'm lost for words right now. there's nothing better than watching your team dominate your brother's team like that. ahhh God I love it. I cant honestly pick a man of the match, everyone played great. Ambro and Gattuso didn't let ManUtd breathe for most of the game, Kaka and Seedorf just dominated the attacking/creativity factors, Nesta and Kaladze did amazing to clean up at the back, Janks and Oddo were average but didn't put a foot wrong all night, Inzaghi was a pest as usual, Gila scores as a sub (he needed that), Dida with safe hands all game long although he was never really called upon for a save except for Giggs' early ****. just a clinical team performance, wonderful to watch (unless you're a ManUtd fan)

Personally, i don't see any difference, except that one loose animal, that looks like he was brought up straight from the brazilian jungle. Scary dude.
Our defense cost us dearly this time, Heinze was trying to play too smart in the second goal, which i think changed everything. At that point, United were starting to slowly get a feel of things and try to create something, but the mistake and then a horrible clearance by Brown, plus an amazing finish from Seedorf ended any of our hopes.
Fergie didn't help with his usual european 4-5-1. Honestly, one thing i don't understand about him this season is why he uses the 4-5-1? We controlled the midfield much better with 4-4-2, rather than 4-5-1. Giggs was nonexistant, Fletcher was having a bad game and Ronaldo couldn't do anything with 2 players on him at all times, especially when one of them is Gattuso. We knew that we can't defend with that kind of defense and only chance to win is to attack, but when it came to the game, we did completely the opposite and tried to survive the strom. Another **** up from Fergie, the 4-5-1 just doesn't work with this team, but he loves it for some reason.
Bringing on Saha, who hasn't played for a long time was another bad move. First mistake was waiting till 15 minutes left to do something and then out of Saha, Solskjaer and Smith, he brings in Saha, when the other two would have clearly been a much better option.
The ref was horrible today too, fell for Gilardino's diving a couple of times, left Gattuso off the hook, god knows how many times. And the calls he was making were just funny at times. Let's just say that he isn't much of a United fan.
Overall, though outplayed by Milan. They were missing Maldini but United couldn't take advantage of that. There is so much talk about how great Kaka is and how he runs this team and does everything for them. However, if anything this tie was won by Gattuso and only by Gattuso. All the pressure and mistakes that Milan capitalised on were caused by Gattuso chasing the play like a rotweiller. You look at the last week's game, it was the exact same thing, until Gattuso went off, then United took over with Kaka hidding under Heinze. This week, as soon as i heard that Gattuso was playing, while Maldini was out, i knew that this tie is pretty much over. When Gattuso was taken off, you only needed to look at his face to see, the main man behind Milan getting into the final.

I would like to see Milan win it now. For obvious reasons lol. They played quality tonight, so Milan to win the final for me. Kaka was great in both legs of the semi.

Gattuso man of the match for sure, great game from Kaka and Seedorf. Midfield was just dominated by Milan in this game, and the defense was much tidier.
Pirlo and Gattuso (with the exception of a few mistakes from Pirlo) just owned the midfied.

Id rather lose on penalties then to go out 3-0 , imagine if chelsea had lost 3-0 at Anfield it beee wayyy more harsher and be very embarrassing. Good thing we didnt lose to liverpool 3-0

not using this as an excuse, but is it really suprising that the two teams who have nothing at all to play for in the league and in the position to rest a lot of key players at the weekend have went through? i mean when we and chelsea are pushing on 3 fronts in the final stages of the season and serie a well decided and at least a 4th place secured for ac milan and liverpool its no suprise they won out in the end given the amount of games we for example have had to play. pushing on 3 fronts with only 17 1st fit players is bound to catch up eventually,and i feel it did tonite
I will leave this short. You could come on here and say this that and the other, but overall Milan were the better team. they deserve their win.
I think Man U and Chelsea fell victim to competing on 3 fronts over the last few weeks. Milan and Liverpool have come nowhere close to winning their leagues, so I think fatigue was a factor.
Saying that, no excuses, Milan were better and Kaka has proved how damn good he is.

That should never be an excuse for losing a big tournament. If youre fighting on all three fronts and you cant make it in the biggest competition of all then you have to sacrifice the small ones. If you dont then you cant blame anyone but yourselves.
Also I want to nomiate Kaka for WPOTY right now....
