fucckin hell....was his time at Barcelona that bad? I mean, why isn't he regarded as the best, or one of the best overall defenders going in the game today? Can't be an age/injury issue because this fuucker is an absolute horse who can legitimately go on for another decade if he so chooses to.....9 lousy million euros?.....what a steal.

Wouldn't say that. He had some injury problems, and he really wasn't that good. Sylvinho might have been our best wing defender last season.

I dont think we have enough options in attack in order to send him on loan. Would be a mistake, especially considering he adapted so well to the club and he's practically an idol already.

Hahahahahaha. Pato is our starter next season (he's been this season), he's our new Sheva. To me that sounds the same like rumors of Zenit wanting Messi in exchange for Arshavin, hilarious.

All i'm seeing is talk about Ronaldinho but we've still got a crappy old defence, no goalkeeper, no depth in attack, an ageing midfield and we're over-reliant on Kaká and Pato. Sure looks like it's gonna be an exciting season.

Yep, and they're buying either Adebayor or Dinho... or no-one.
Don't know what to say, maybe next year when we're back in the CL we'll renew the rest.

Yeah, but the speculation is he'll go on loan there for the season 09/10, not permanent, and i even don't believe that to be true. I'd give 20 mil for Adebayor, max, and i'd rather see us get Pavlyuchenko! **** players that represented the top clubs already, we need someone to give everything to Milan!

I'd give Ade only 5mil max to be honest, I've seen a lot of Le Arse games last season, and thats my evaluation of him to be honest, a one season wonder.
Most of his goals were created by Fabregas and Hleb. And he still could miss the easy ones. I think yer making a big mistake if you were to sign him for more than 10mil.

Galliani's supposedly ended interest in Adebayor. but we all know he's a filthy liar, but lets hope that's true. and apparently the Ronnie deal is almost done, he's agreed a 2-year contract and everything's being finalized.
