Couldnt watch the game, due to ******* signal problems. Had to "please" myself with Inter's thrashing of Treviso. We shouldnt be wasting points against those teams though, that's what cost us the league last season.

Starting XI
My jaw dropped when I saw :-puke: Serginho and :-puke: Ambrosini starting ahead of Rui Costa, Gatusso or Seedorf.

Still, there is no excuse for Ambrosini ahead of a pitbull like Gattusso. I could see if they were looking for midfield width and all, but with their full backs I wouldnt think it would be a big issue. Given Rui Costa's preseason, you have to question that one too, but Seedorf being left out, I can understand that

I would take Serginho over Seedorf. Apart from that, i think your order is pretty much accurate. You could put more of those lil' ****ties before Ambro though. (H)

I totally agree even Janku could have been a better choice than Serginho.

But yeah, and the Ambro start over Gattuso was just to much for a fan to understand. Maybe Ancelotti wants out of Milan before the season ends. :nape:

you guys know nothing so shut up.

Ancelotti was basing the line up on pre-season games. So yeah, Rui Costa had an excellent pre-season, but so did Kaká. He scored in all the games he played in.

And Rui Costa wasnt brought in because his play is all about dribbling and neat little passes. But the pitch didnt allow it.

Serginho over Jankulovski? Same. He did better than Janks in the summer as well. Scoring some super goals.

Ambro is starting over Gattuso because of the not so good performances of Gattuso last season. You cant make Gattuso start every game and have no one to push him. Oh, and did I mention, Ambro had a great pre-season as well.

What Carlo did is certainly better than last year where he is actually risking a bit and playing with width and not starting Seedorf in every single ******* game. Last of all, just check out ANY picture from the game and see that the field was unplayable. I still admit that we shouldnt have lost 2 points againts Ascoli but in the circumstances, Im not too angry.

Sheva won the Golden Foot 2005 award.

He got slightly more votes than Paolo Maldini and Luis Figo.

On the contrary, the seven other nominees (Beckham, Crespo, Kahn, Romario, Ronaldo, Van Nistelrooy and Zidane) were much far away.

From 7:00 p.m. today, Andriy Shevchenko’s footprint is shining on the renowned promenade in Monte Carlo beside the ones of the great champions of the past (Maradona, Eusebio, Fontaine, Rivera, Di Stefano, Platini, Zoff and of the winners of the award past editions (Roberto Baggio in 2003 and Pavel Nedved in 2004) who have already left their mark in football history.

also fellow Milan great, and future Liberian president (H), George Weah

hehh. anything like that can be anything but bad eh. congratulations Andriy (Y)

Easy, easy. Ambro over Gattuso isnt a good move and you know it. Mere pre-season games shouldnt be the main way of picking your players. Gattuso is the real deal and his performances last season went down the hill, but the team did the same towards the end of the season so...

Also, form is temporary, class is permanent, and Ambrosini doesnt have any. Gattuso has been delivering for us since, forever?

And of course Serginho had a better pre-season than Janku... he was injured.

So he had to play a bit slower to get fit, but knows that games COUNTS !!!! you better put the best players.
