about changing kit number/letter

just now i've d/l some new numbers and letters (eg the EPL ones)
wt are the steps of changing them?
could anyone plz tell me?

btw... those files are in .gif format

Hm.... you'll need them in BMP.. 8bpp...
They are located in etc_ee_tex.bin...

You can use Graphic Studio, AFSExplorer, and WEPic Decoder for inserting them...

just pay attention on transparencies... make sure it will work properly

and should its opacity be 0%?
the original one i d/l is black bg and white letter/number

it's made for work :)
Open the file in GS, right click... "reduce colors to 8bpp" or something like this...

Uh... you should try this:

With AFSExplorer, export etc_ee_tex.bin to a folder.
Open it with WEPicDecoder, Import the 2 bitmaps on the slot you want.
Import the transparency (This one: http://homepage.ntlworld.com/gordon.y/etc_ee_tex.bin_2.alp )
Save it.
Put it back on 0_text.afs.

IMO it's the easiest way... but if someone knows an easier/better way, please tell us :)
