hi one of my mates said u can only get music onto ur ipod from itunes (the package u get with ipod) which u have to pay, so dus this mean u cant download mp3s for free of the net then put it on the ipod?

im not sure but i think that all your music is moved to your i-pod using itunes, which is like wmp exceot for mp3s, you can get any mp3 and put it into itunes and then move it into your ipod

yep, any mp3 you own will go on the ipod, and itunes will convert other types of music into ipod compatible

you can also purchase music from music store which is built into itunes
