A neutral review of fifa 07

oki i firstly give it a general rating of 7.5, it looks like a oki product to me, myabe final version will be betta, I dont know.

from 95 to 2007, crap after crap... dont know wat EA was/is doing.

here i dont wanna compare it with WE 10. so dont worry

1. Graphic , 6

the modeling is totally crap, no face, no skin material,no hair material, only plastic feel shaders. all player walk run like robots in starwars(see it when goolie kicks off). all player with O legs and big pants. hell ugly!

and when it get to the animation, i got huge fps drop, dont know why. it is just simple shader animation.

2. sounds 10

totally not relevant to a footi game. dosnt matter to me.

3.gamplay 7

physic is just oki....not too good , not bad

the shooting moves are so fake, maybe cause by ****ty models. the pace is acceptable to me. shooting also lacks variations.

still running on SAND.a little bit improved as ot running on ICE.

players response feels oki.

4. menus, looks oki. 8

with all those views that everythin is crap.. surely 7.5 is little bit high...? Surely u'd give it a good 5 with all of those opinions?

Frankly i disagree with u on many of those points but im not going to get into any kind of arguement over it

For me its the best Fifa since 98, especially ball physics very improved this time. Also player movements do look more realistic than the previous version(s).

But the most important thing: It makes FUN to play. Finally. :)

oki firstly i dont play particular footi game, i just pick up the best one seems to me

and i play footi myself, i watch footi games, and i do computer graphics.

i know wat a good game gonna be like. if i got O legs run like nutty robots i would be so sad hahahahaha

from years and years , EA cant even get the models right. so wat's the problem then? they should sack the development group

after watched the trailer, i thought it was good, but when i come to play.......

it is crap indeed.

do you enjoy marquez looks exactly the same as ronaldinho in the game?????

improvement? minimum from fifa 06.

I used to Play Fifa many years ago, and now I am a Pro evo die hard.but I've got to say Fifa 07 has been a good attempt. Still not quite there yet but so close. The game could improve on shooting methods.

I also used to play FIFA before PES3 PC... I tried the FIFA07 demo and it wasn't that bad... the gameplay is more realistic now... ok, I never realy liked the graphics a FIFA... and it hasn't improved (I can add that FIFA never ran as smooth as any of the PES PC games)... PES is much better in this field in my opinion... Also the way players "run" in the field and the lack of inertia is a let down in FIFA...But the AI is nice, and the positioning of players during the game feels good!
I don't know about you, but for me the goalkeepers in a footy game are essential: if they are crap, the game will surely be crap... and here, the FIFA07 demo showed awesome animations for the goalkeepers, making the game very real in this aspect! The way they respond is also very good! The sense of achievement when you score is great! This is the main advantage of FIFA07 over PES5 where the goalkeeper movements are somehow limited...

u know what? whatever i say, i cant killl fifa, but EA is killing it.

the problem, they cant even get a simple thing right. wat seemed to me is the maker made up everything instead of capturing stuff from real life.

eg, team ratings..... lyon got no difffrence from barca etc.....bla bla bla,
by ignoring many little details really ruin the the game, i dont know why they enhance the music crap, u can listen to it only when you setting up the match?

oki , you saw the improvements, because before it's too lame. now that doesnt mean it is good

you dont believe me, you check it out by urself, when goal keeper kicks off, you can observe the players on field. does this make you sick of fifa? is that the awsome animation you want?

i tell what it is, is there anything wrong?

im sorry if i cant write a more neutral review make everone happy.

I get the feeling that fifa will never catch up to PES. How many years has it been? Point is Fifa is aimed at shallow people who want to hear music and let the computer do all the thinking and decisions for the. They know they have that crowd by the balls, so they don't feel compelled to achieve a realistic game. PES is more for people who think, know about football, play or played football, understand the physics, timing, tactics, etc, etc, etc it takes to do certain things. PES gives you more control to make your own decisions. The best way I can put it is: Fifa = paint by numbers, PES = rembrandt.

P.S. - Why in fifa 2006, do players run away at 120 mph after they score a goal?

Come now, guys... hahaha is entitled to his opinion. He wrote a review which is his opinion, if you didn't want to know it you shouldn't have come here. As to the Fifa/Pes debate, Fifa can be played on more lower-end machines than PES can, so Fifa will always have a strong following.'

I think I'll wait until the dust settles before I pick this title up. In the mean time I'll keep reading your comments and see what everyone says once the game is out on stores. You really have to research games now... $60 is pretty hefty!
