A Generation Without Brazil

Brazil need to do the right thing and give Dunga the job again. He's the only man qualified for it and should never have been fired in the first place.

Don't even remember what the deal was with Dunga. Was he the one who played defensively and got fired after a Copa Ameria?

Yeah, I think he got fired after 2011 Copa America. He played defensively I guess, but his teams weren't like Argentina or Holland at this World Cup. He had good ideas like Ramires and Maicon dominating the right side like 3 players, and he used Robinho in a way that would be interesting to see with Neymar.

One bad thing about him: he probably would have selected Fred too.

No that was Mano (who was fired after the Olympics) Dunga got fired after losing to the Netherlands in the quarters at the last World Cup.

Dunga was mocked and then fired because of his hideous taste in shirts.

Brazil plays a bunch of DMs since 1994... they won the World Cup with Mazinho-Dunga-Mauro Silva triple pivot. Kleberson-Gilberto SIlva + 3 CBs in 2002.

Most people don't want Dung back. Here is a list of things he did:
- Offended reporters;
- From his 23 players, he called 11 defensive midfielders. He was a DM himself.
- Most of those players had no place in the WC.
- On the other hand, talented players didn't have the same luck. Both Neymar and Ganso were shining at that point but he never tried them.
- He didn't call another creative midfielder even though Kaka was injured.
- Everyone knew Felipe Melo would be red-carded at some point; he was the only one who couldn't see it.

Kaka wasn't injured either, he was red carded on a hilarious flop though.

Kaka pkayed that world cup injured and screwed his career, just like Torres 2010.
