A couple of kits...

Hi!

I decided to try my luck with a couple of kits which I was surprised that no one, at least to my knowledge, had tried earlier. This one's the goalie kit that Toldo always worn during this season, namely, the blue one. I used one of Marty's new textures to create this.

There's a lot of scope for improvement, I know. Like for instance, I know that the mirroring on the socks really suck. I'd like an expert to give me a tip on proper mirroring, please.

Besides, the shorts are also pretty screwed up, and nowhere near the quality you people have come to expect. All the same, this is my first, so maybe I'll get better...

I just realised I need to put the Serie A logos on the sleeves.

Can any of you tell me how you do the mirroring on the socks properly?

OK, I've figured out the mirrorring, and have fixed the Serie A logos as well. I'll try to make a few more changes before I release it.

Yes, I noticed that, but I also noticed that this stretching becomes insignificant if the logo is placed higher up the sleeve. At least, that's what happened in DRC. I'll check it in-game as well.

This one looks more or less perfect, I feel! :p Even if it wasn't a very hard kit to make, I'm really proud of it!!

Here's the Italy Home kit for the upcoming EURO 2004. Not a hard kit, but I tried out a few different things on this one...

After another long pause, I'm back with my latest and IMO, my greatest kit!

This is the fantasy Inter Milan kit for the 2004-2005 season. I've experimented, for the first time with the new Nike style for kits. So more than fantasy, I'd say it's an 'educated guess' for next season's kit.

Inter won't release their actual kit for the new season till July, but I reckon this should be the kit they ought to use!! :D

I've really thrown myself into making this kit, and I'd appreciate your comments.

OK, here's my next kit. It's again, a fantasy Inter kit, but this time the away kit, or maybe you can call it the third kit.

I've tried to get the texture to look somewhat shiny, but I don't think I've succeeded well. If any of you big-time kit-makers can share a couple of tips, I'd be grateful.

Hmm, still no comments, and it's been nearly 5 days. Are they that bad or what :(. Or is it just the fact that I've been making only Inter kits?

Anyway, I have an amusing concept for a goalkeeping kit. I'll probably post it here tomorrow.

Hi man.....been looking through the thread........and you are improving with every kit,well done......one thing i have noticed though is that you dont seem to mirror your sleeve logos on the correct sleeves........the sleeve on the right is a long left sleeve ok....so that logo is reversed as on all the left sleeves........then starting at the bottom sleeve on the left and working your way up it goes.......left.......right.......left..........right........left.......just in case you were not aware........oh and i noticed the design on the side of the shorts for your fantasy kit at the top of the page........naughty naughty.........:D ...if you need anything man just ask and i will do my best to help..........;)
