a bit deceived with pes5

i am a bit deceived with pes5... i don't like the new gameplay...it hasn't changed so much but some new features added are not so good....
-Too much fouls whistled imo...can't play smoothly...
-The cinematics are worse and there are some bugs i found... like at end of match there is only one replay for me....
-the goalkeepers are more unrealistic compared to pes4.... they dun move at all sometimes..
-lack of new faces....
-master league getting boring.... they shud make it more realistic.... at least 2 divisions with 20 teams in each division!!!!! y can't they do that????dun need a license for that...!!!!

overall not much innovations compared to pes4 i am really deceived with pes5 i expected a lot more.... (i have played FIFA 2006....there have been a lot of innovations and ameliorations compared to 05)...

I dont agree i find the game awsome it is much better than previous versions...the important for me is that the game is improved each year...this year u cant run down wings as u like...yes there r flaws but only minor...i only concentrate on gameplay the rest is for kids!

Btw when u mentioned FIFA u lost ur credibility!

Don't think we can take this guys seriously. The goalkeeper in pes5 is better than pes4. About the new faces, I can very damn well tell you that PES5 have a wider range of faces as compared to Fifa 06. And also the faces are of better quality than Fifa's.

It depends whether your match had any exciting things to be put on replays. PES4 also had only one replay at the end if your game didn't have much action.

And this isn't worth a new thread. Should have used another thread which was started to whine. I don't really see this as a thread to discuss on anything. Your post ain't objective at all.

At first I hated it because I was over-used to the speed in PES4, my play evolves around pure attacking, running about chopping them, getting the ball and cruising up the wing, which is impossible to do in PES5.

If they changed the fouls and some coding so I actually got a loose ball, the game would be good. Well they can also revamp the code totally, I mean I am running with the ball, a player stands in my way, falls on his arse and he gets the FK? yes, whatever.

Word of advice, don't say the game ain't good, the kids can't handle it.

man!! i found fifa 2003,04,05 really bad.... like 'pinball' football but i honestly find 06 has made lots of improvements..it is more fluid than before....i haven't said that it is better than pes... and i dun think it will get better than pes for some time....

lol yeah i know!!! i am a bif pesfan too.... yeah it looks like my players make foul automatically by just running on the opponents... that's really annoying...the ball physics is a bit weird too dun like it too much!!!

FIFA06 is a big improvement over 05 but it still sucks so badly, about 4/10.

Also to add the corners suck, instead of going to the player who the ball will end up at, I get a player nowhere near the ball, meaning by the time I toggle the cursor the CPU get the ball.

Either that or the player has to run through about 9 bodies in-order to header the ball. Also the fact although I have MANUAL cursor change, sometimes it changes automatically? not exactly what I call manual eh.

Kids always see the world in black and white...

Man if u say PES 4 is better than PES 5 u need a reality check...the game is way better than previous versions...but i see many getting frustrated cause its hard to win on 6* but dont u prefer a game to be challenging?

The game is more difficult than it ever was and some people don't know what to make of it. They seem to give up on it to quickly. Practice and I guarantee you your passing, tackling, shooting, and dribbling will improve dramatically. I know mine has. You can still counter attack, but not everytime. Most of the times it's better to control the ball in the midfield with smart passes, and don't be afraid to pass it back to the keeper. Don't be afraid to ask fellow players for tips, either.

I remember the fouls were such a problem in the beginning. After a while people stopped complaining about fouls, because they learned how to properly time their tackles. Now some of you have an issue with ball control. I did to the first couple of matches. I was used to quick 1-2 passes in PES4 which I now realize were far too easy. I learned to control the ball with R2(dribble a litte if I had to avoid a tackle), look for the open man(even if he was behind me), and then make sure my players body was facing the general direction of where I wanted to pass. Sometimes I don't have to wait, because the AI will make the mistake of giving Ronaldo too much space. At which point I send him a through pass and he smokes the defence. You have to take advantage of these opportunities or be patient and make your own.

I love PES5 because it requires more skill and creativity than any other football game before it.

Go and watch a game, and then play PES5, if you think the game is 100% like football I suggest suicide, because that is a severe case of living in denial.

PES5 is good, has alot of negative points but alot of positive, it just depends what you want to do with them, you can either love the positive or hate the negative, I hate the negative, so get over it and stop pretending that everyone who says PES5 ain't good is not living in reality.

And I don't have a big issue with the amount of fouls, sometimes I give away about 6 in a whole game, what I DO have an issue with is the fact it's too easy to concede one. And before you say the same thing for the 900th time, no I don't run at them with R1 and press X and square, so don't waiste your time by saying it.

Tell you what, I will make one team with 99 stats and the other with 0, have me on red form and they on gray, I guarantee the difference between the two sides will be difficult to see, do you want me to try this?
