5 year career mode

its only for 5 years??? u cant get anything done in five years... please someone tell me im interpreting this wrong!

I'm pretty sure it will be five, due to the lack of a youth team... IMO five is enough, but it wouldn't hurt to have more

I saw this too...very strange. I know that the fifa soccer team has a tendency to screw up even the most simple things...but if this is the case they have outdone themselves!

Or maybe someone in the top came up with the brilliant idea that no one would buy tcm and play football fusion unless they were given a very good reason to buy it?

in other EA Sports games its like 30 years. But I usually get bored during my third year so five is fine with me...and Christianx I think ur right they probably just want people to buy TCM 2004 and use football fusion if you want to play a long career of more than five years.

uff 5 years is not alot i would say ea should do somet about it others mayu play the game abit but people like me dont really know when to play it or stop like cm i played it alot then i stoppped but i came back to my game so i guess they should make about 30 years!

If he wants to play with Zidane for 20 years shouldn´t he at least have the option to do so?
And, fact of the matter is, that EA promised already this spring that career mode would be longer than five years.
First rule in this business: Keep ypur promises!

The nation wide conference? What´s that? Is that like division 4? how many teams are in it?

It's not part of the league, it's the highest non-league level

It is the 5th level in england

Prem > D1 > D2 > D3 > Confrence

its not 5 yrs it means u have five yrs to succeed as a manager, league play 2003/2004 is 5 yrs and not career mode, and remember u get offers from other leagues

Noone gets bored after 3 years, who was that said I get bored after 3 years of career mode. Mate, you just dont know soccer or how to play it or both.

good thinking, i hope this is all a misinterperetation becasue i don't think 5 years would be long enough to accomplish much. I mean it starts you off with a not-so-hot team, i would say that 10-20 years would be better. Personally I thought that you wouldn't play with the same players for the whole time anyhow but instead they would retire and young new players would come into the team.

now that we're talking about the career mode, ive been wondering...are we gonna be able to make our own team (you know,make our own flag, name, kit, stadium etc) and play with that team in the career mode?
