5* and ML player trades

5* : It is quite pleasing to never know the outcome of a match when playing any game. No matter what team you are, always be ready for the unexpected. This is only my initial thought of course, but it is quite pleasing since expecting to win takes a lot out of a game. I still haven't won the Euro Cup, but have come close once, getting 3rd in the tourney with France I believe. Another game, I played as the beloved Netherland orange men and kicked arse in qualifications scoring 4 or 5 goals, then got knocked out of the quarterfinals. I have never gone into one match and got a result I expected. The matches have been quite exciting, some boring, and am relieved to say. very realistic.

ML player trades : I don't think I have seen anything about this yet, but to anyone who has played the ML so far, have they (Konami) included the ability to be able to trade one of your players for another player on another team? If my soccer knowledge serves me accurately, this can be done in real life, correct? Anyway, I am in the dark about this, so someone share the news.!

Cheers(C)

Did you go straight to 5 *, or did you try the lower levels first ?
Do you play the same like you did in WE6FE, or are you needing to change your way of playing drastically ?

I'm too scared to try out 5*. I've heard the CPU is too good on this level. What do you think ?
So I'm still getting used to 4 * itself.
I'm playing International League with Liverpool in a league with all the British clubs. Finished 6th in first attempt. Need to improve my goalscoring. I have the best defense with 18 goals conceded in 30 games. But scored only 28.

Have'nt bothered with the ML yet. Just waiting for a good patch that translates ML menus.

And yes, in ML I have heard in other forums that it is possible to swap players in transfer deals. If the players don't cost the same, then you will have to pay/receive the difference in points.
HTH.

I dove head first right into 5*. I toyed with the other levels, but as you will notice, the defensive AI does not pressure as much. You can dominate any team on possession .i.e China vs France. Of course, you may not win the match most of the time, maybe end in mostly draws, it isn't "easy" to win though. ;)

5* will surely be your perfect blend of footballing flavor. The balance within the matches are much more realistic. Trying to play possession i.e. China vs France, will definitely be a challange compared to 4*. The defensive AI pressures you in the mid-field a lot more, attacking the ball, but not recklessly. It obviously takes getting used to because you definitely cannot play the same way as you did as in WE6FE. It's just a different game. So far on 5*, I have won the asia cup, africa cup, america, international cup and konami cup, still trying for the european cup though. The way I play in this game though is a lot more different than I did for WE6FE.

Anyway... gotta head off to class... 10 minutes to get there. You should practice on 5* though, do the cups and mess. Just takes getting used to.

Later :p
