3D Match Engine.

I am expecting it to be buggy and somewhat frustrating.. it could be a disaster or imrpove the game imensely.

I heard they have been working on it for 3 years so that is a good.... I'm excited to try it out.

Same thoughts. It could turn out to be a total disaster, but it can also be awesome. As a big FM fan, I want to believe in the second option. And after all, 3 years working on a 3D engine must mean something. They want everything to be perfect.

Considering the 2D engine will be usable, I'm for it.

I found 08 most unplayable because of the broken confidence screen (unrealistic) and older 30+ players aging too fast.

Even if the 3D match engine turns out to be poo, we still have the 2D match engine. SI have their bases covered if they screw up the 3D engine.

SI's 3D is different from EA's 3D in TCM 2003, something which I hated. Still, there is potential for this.

The 2d engine has been part of CM like... 5-6 years already (??) and they still havent gotten it right. 3D/// Not so sure. Hopefully the animations will all blend togethr well and it wont look bad.

The thing is, if the 3D is just an aesthetic reflection of the 2D engine(even with its flaws), it could be pretty cool.

I think alex just likes to whine, really. I haven't found any irritating flaws in the FM 06 engine, which is the only one I've played.

Yep, because they're aren't any irritating ones the 2008 is pretty annoying, but I hear it's been through so much testing with FMLive that it's ought to be decent by now...
