Put it on World Class - Put the Camera on End to End - tell me you don't score 4 Goals in 45 mins ....easily - all you do is head man the ball either the thru ball or the longball in the air.

It's pure NEXT GEN comedy really ...

Ooooooooooooo...the brilliant, by the way did you take "passing assistance" off? if you said you did, then your lying

You know it kills me how many people in here criticize the thru ball, all EA has to do is lower the passing power because in winning eleven when you try the thru ball, the power behind it is very weak and the AI defenders intercept it, because I guantee you if WE had the same thru ball passing power of FIFA you can do thru balls in WE all day, any soccer game for that matter.

It's a good game, just enjoy it

I claimed the same thing as Ric from day 1 this demo hit the marketplace. There are obvious patterns that you can use to break the defence and what is even worse is that there are "sweet spots" from which you score no matter what.

If you shoot from that half circle, right outside the box, you'll score in at least 90% of chances... World Class...

Passing assistance does make things BIT "harder" or in the other words, more annoying, nothing else. If it did feel more realistic by switching passing assistance off then I'd give EA some credit, but this is plain garbage.

Hey Ric, I read your other thread and just to give you a quick heads up with PES6 on 360... you might wanna keep your money in your wallet...
- There is no editing except editing players...
- Only 8 stadia are in the game...
- There is a slowdown after corners and whenever there are lots of players on the screen
- Gameplay is exactly the same as current gen
- There is a slight delay with first touch; players pause for a half a sec. when they receive the ball etc....

There's more but can't remember now... I haven't played it but a good friend of mine did and it seems like it is shocking...

Turning off passing assistance is awesome, makes for a realistic game, some games you have sloppy play at times, if you find it annoying, then I don't know what to say .....sorry I have been playing the heck out of this demo. I see no patterns, the AI defenders are downright relentless at times, the sweet spot I do agree about and that's where I feel sliders will come into play.

I think this game is awesome

Even you admit that the game is sloppy at times and that there are sweet spots...

So when EA claimed that this new engine is completely unpredictable; completely free and attributes driven; you never know what is going to happen next; ball physics are now a separate entity and the ball is not animation driven anymore; etc etc etc... it all falls in the water now because if there are sweet spots, that means that ball IS animation driven sometimes... There are patterns in gameplay, so the game is not unpredictable, it is scripted...

More time I spend with this demo, more disappointed I get... I killed at least 5h playing the demo since it came out and quite frankly even on World Class I can score 4 - 5 goals with such an ease that is not even funny. And that's just in 5 min one half demo... If this stays the same in final version I can see myself scoring 10+ goals per match... very "realistic"...

And I disagree that sliders will do anything... And if they do we shouldn't have to adjust anything with the finished game at the first place... difficulty settings should do these things for us. It's a lame job by EA as usual if that is the case.

I agree with Miki23, yes this game has a few gripes but I love it! manual passing in my opinion is awesome. Ive played PES6 on PS2 and thought it was awful! Semi Automatic passing, takes ages to control the ball, the players feel stiff and the shooting system is pretty crap as well!

I havent seen too many Sweet Spots.. Ive scored a belter from Rooney in one place, tried it again later and Valdes saved it.

Rick Flair, I think you should STFU. Are you that stupid that you have to make 3 million threads which are basicly the same (bashing FIFA). If you don't like it then shut your trap and play PES5 until PES6 comes out. If you don't like the game then why do you play it so much ? I think you like it so much that your scared 2 think that it might be better then stupid PES/WE .. for once I'm glad.

I still think it's amusing how people constantly bash a game based on a demo and not the final product.

If any of you had bothered to read anything before going off on one, you'd know that the demo available on the marketplace is from E3 ... which would make it a very early build.

Now, it has been said on multiple occasions that the build available at X06 was about a million times better and a lot of the 'flaws' were fixed.

All I can say now is, rent the final game before deciding on wether or not you will go back to your beloved PES(which I think you will, despite the fact that next-gen PES has been proven to be one of the worst PES titles to date ... but no, you will praise it to high heavens like the little fanboy you are).

Noone here makes any final judgement nor purchase decisions based on a demo... that is just your perception...

It is ridiculous how easy it is for people to slap you with the PES fanboy sticker if you say something bad about Fifa and vice versa...

All I see in this thread is a discussion on a reality of the state of the demo... it has flaws that need to be addressed. We do not have a final game and demo is all we can "bash" about. The purpose of the demo is to give us a flavour of what to expect from a final product. If that flavour is bad, then it should be spoken out like we did...

BTW, the guy that revealed that this demo is E3 build is actually me as I had a priviledge to be in EA VIP room @ E3. I also had the opportunity to attend the X06 and the demo at X06 is improved one... I haven't played it but from what I have seen it plays better than the demo we have, so I'm happy that some things have been eliminated... my fear is that the major ones will remain.

I'll get both PES and Fifa this year as I have been doing for the past 8 years and you guys can continue your fanboyish ignorance... I love football and I'll play it in any form...

P.S. Please re-read my first post about PES6 then restate your comments in regards to it because they make little sense...

The only flaws i see is the cpu not heading the ball from his crosses. He just chests it down, really annoys me.

But i also have to ask myself...have people played these games so much, to death almost that they become almost immune to difficulty levels? Think about it. I know plenty of people who spend most of their time seriously gaming, to the point where games are no longer challenges, and in fact they've stopped enjoying a game, they've stopped savouring a game, all they wanna do is be the best at it and then they complain its too easy!

I'm happy to say i play regulalry although i dont hammer the consoles, but World class is difficult on this demo and im only ever on 4 stars on pes.

I meant, real life games are sloppy at times during the game, therefore manual passing adds to the realism.
I respect your theory but I don't agree with it because of my theory. I SEE NO PATTERNS, I believe that the game IS rebuilt, I can see it for myself, and when I said sweet spots, I was talking about the fact that the ball when struck was to accurate most of the time, with too much power behind it for the keeper to get to it in the top corners of the net, player's striking abilities are too good, that doesn't mean the ball is animation driven! and that's where I said if left the same in the final build, that can easily be fixed with sliders or just tuning down player's abilities.

At least calling you a pratt was correct..........LuvPES did not even say that about fifa he said:. :nape:

I meant, real life games are sloppy at times during the game

I agree with all you said LuvPES very valid points......... :) unlike Miki23 who seems to want to slag anything and everything that has fifa in the title

and the fact he can score from just about anywhere on the pitch means he must be the best fifa player ever :kader:

Lets be fair, Miki23 is always objective and constructive with his opinions of Fifa07 360. When the demo was first out I remember him saying how he had found weak spots in the game. Now he is supporting these with evidence that we might be able to re-create. JJGADGET; calling him a pratt, well :nape:

On the game, I have never played a football game that I enjoyed as much as 07 360. The enjoyment for me comes from the football experience, be it the licensed teams, the pitch quality, number of stadiums, HD graphics (a first for me) and the gameplay, which I feel is superior to any other football game. Sure it has flaws, but "it sure is a step in the right direction" : :) . Personally I have not found this weaknesses yet, and am scoring less goals on the demo now than ever! I seem to be regressing, but am enjoying the challenge of World Class setting. To me its somewhat hard to break them down.

What aload of rubbish he started a thread not long ago and could not say enough GOOD things about fifa 07 ........NOW he slagging it off :nape:

You also posted a thread slagging Fifa 07 off and now you cant say enough good things about it............ YOU two should be called the Contradiction Twins.

"calling him a pratt, well"..........hahahahahahahaha your NOT my keeper or my judge so F..... off PhilH930.......It seems to me you only sympathetic to him because neither of you KNOW what you've said or when you've said it.... :)

Yes the demo on marketplace for 360 isn't from the final build of the game. PC demo's are different to console's and the next-gen game has already has builds of demo's playable at events (e3, x06). Sooo, some people are claiming that the demo is from the E3 build, which I would believe true as I have heard this numerous times from reliable people.

Anyway...I am sure the final game will play great! I already think 360 FIFA 07 is the best footy game of the lot so :lui: :jap:

I have to say I also found a sweet spot... it happened yesterday I hit 2 shots on the same spot and the goalie didnt save either one.. talk about a rip off.. oh wait.. it was an actual real life football match I was playing.
