2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil PC Conversion Patch Thread

Guys I have already made Philippines NT for the 2015 Asian Cup, but I am thinking to also make Palestine. Should I make this team too? There are 4 players already in my .db which are Palestinian, and the team's OVR can be around about 60~64. It looks like Palestine NT can be higher rated than Philippines NT; but I don't know if Palestine can be 2 stars or only 1.5.

I'm just going to take one goalkeeper who is in the 2010WC database: Ramzi Saleh; but all the other players will be from the 2014WC database. In fact, Bishara's rating increases from 58 in FIFA14 to 63 in the 2014WC .db, so he will have increased stats!

I'm new to this forum. Looked for a mod that brings world cup alive and all countries of the world for FIFA 14. And I found it! I am as freaky as you guys!
about accuracy:
I observed WC-qualification in Oceania and have to say that EA did not spend much time on estimating the teams.
Tahiti is of course not the best team behind New Zealand.
I looked at the database and was disappointed. Only a half star for New Caledonia! New Caledonia showed so many times that there really
good and have beaten Tahiti 4:0 and 1:0 in the recent
qualification stage. It was the only team that could defeat
New Zealand 2:0 in the halffinal of OFC-Nations Cup so that
Tahiti could win this cup against them... Other results (0:2,1:2)
were not bad too and they were second behind New Zealand
with a big gap to the others in the last round.

So I think New Caledonia should have 2 stars.
It is embarassing that Ounemoa and Mercier, two players that were
in the database of 2010 have the same strength and are both one of
the best players although they played just a few macthes...
About strength 50 is far to minor for the first team while players of Tahiti have strength of about 60 only because they played in Confederations Cup.
At least the first squad has the right players. Gope-Fenepej is the only
one who was estimated normal, but still a little bit too weak beacause
he scored much goals.
Similar thoughts came to me when I saw Fiji. Only because they were
defeated very early that does not mean the results of past do not
indicate there still a good team. Kaltack of Vanuatu too bad, too, etc...
2nd point:
Marama Vahirua is missing, the only professional of Tahiti. Maybe you could add him into the database. In the last version he should have played for AS Monaco.
Think he was in FIFA 12. He was nominated for qualification but wanted to
focus on his club till he ended his professional career in Confederations Cup.
3rd point:
If you do not want to add all stadiums of OFC then you
should choose Lawson Tama Stadium of Salomon Islands because
all matches of the OFC Nations Cup took place there.
The hill where people watched them is very cool!
Toleafoa J.S Blatter Soccer Stadium in Samoa is the place of
the very early round and would be also nice. At most because
it is palm-lined!

So I've just added Palestine. It's got a rating of 64 ATT, 60 MID and 61 DEF, which is higher than Philippines; both teams have the same ratings in ATT & MID, but Palestine's DEF is higher.

I actually managed to win the Asian Cup with Palestine; I drew Japan, beat Jordan and drew with Iraq in the group phase, then beat UAE and China PR in the 1/4 and 1/2 finals before beating Saudi Arabia in the final on penalties!

I don't think China PR can reach 1/4 finals in the video game level. Their rating is sort of overvalued.

Well there's no way UAE and China deserve 3 stars IMO. And Im sure I am not the only one thinking this.

geesh, seems like EA hasnt given up using over 10 year old ratings or even where it has- its to minimum. I mean Estonia having lower rating than Lithuania and Latvia despite the fact that Estonia has been ahead of them for years now and i doubt we would even have this .5 if we wouldnt have had reached euro 2012 qualifications play-offs. Of course Estonia isnt top-notch team, but come on, at least we are par with Finland (3 stars), yet i cant recall Estonia having any other rating since FIFA 2002 (where there also were every nation)
I know, Estonia should be 3 stars, but note that the teams are ordered in terms of how high or low they are, so Lithuania is a low 3 stars. Lithuania was actually 2.5 too, but I changed Saulius Mikoliunas from 64 (rating in Euro 2012) to 67 (rating in 2014 WC) and that gave the whole team 3 stars. I've also made it that all players have their highest possible ranking too.
