Colts-Saints in the Superbowl.

Can't say I was convinced by either Championship game......Colts fell behind early...Saints were contained to virtually nothing in the 2nd half.....yet still put up 28 points after 4 quarters. Drew Brees was almost forcing the ball at times.

It was the best outcome in a rather ****ty situation. I was about ready to skip the Super Bowl when it looked the Vikings were taking it. Thank God for Favre showing up in the end with his all too characteristic 'chuck it up and see what happens' gun-slinger type of throw.

A cool stat is that for all three teams Favre has played in, he has thrown an interception as his last pass...

I'm hopping on the Saints bandwagon right now. Manning doesn't deserve another Lombardi. It will be awesome if the Saints can keep knocking him down and roughing him up like they did with Favre. They're the more complete team, so I think the Saints will win it, and it's deserved.

You know, I might be gutted if this wasn't par for the course for the vikings. pretty sure we're actually cursed up here in the frozen tundra. that said...good luck to the saints; four years after katrina, N.O. deserves something to celebrate.
