As for Ottawa, time to clean house. Quennville is already being rumoured as a replacement for Martin. I don't see Martin or Lalime surviving this, 4 times is too much.

BTW, the reason Ottawa doesn't really get the "die hard" support is because the team is located in Kanata, not Ottawa. It's pretty stupid to build your rink outside of the city core.

Leafs/Philly. Well they kicked our ass last year and manhandled us this regular season. I see the trend continuing unless Belfour keeps his composure and doesn't let Primeau phase him with his every game goalie charge. I can't stand that crap. I hate to say it but I think the Flyers will win it in 6. I hope i'm wrong.

The Ottawa Senators fired head coach Jacques Martin, two days after the team was eliminated from the Stanley Cup playoffs by the Toronto Maple Leafs.

It wasn't his fault really but losing four straight times to the leafs left the Senators no chioce but to fire him. No one except Scotty Bowman could survive a streak like that.

BTW, Maggie the monkey picked the leafs again. She went 2-6 in her first round picks. Philly will still win it I think.

the Leafs and Flyers are practically identical in style of play, which is why I respect them more than those pussy faggot Sens.

only got to catch the 3rd period tonight because I had work () by the looks of things we didn't do too badly, played a good game but that 3rd goal was really weak and I dont see why Belfour cant save those but can stop nearly impossible to stop shots

we played a good game, but our defensive coverage was letting the Philly forwards to skate around in our own end way too much... it was like after 5 steps the defense just gave up and let them go to the front of the net (ahemKABERLEahem)

PS: about Martin being fired... he had it coming, not a bad coach at all, but he was managing the ****ty pussy fag Sens, so how could he beat the Leafs?

That was a weak goal, but Leclair made a great play, totally outmuscled Nieuwendyk on the play and got it on net.

The Leafs played well considering they played two nights ago though. The first period was intense, but then it really calmed down. If the Leafs play that calm game, the advantage goes to the Flyers.

Rony, to be honest I thought the Leafs played horribly. They played a slow tempo game which fit right into the style of the Flyers.

Right off the start, they had two PP's. Both of them rank up there with the worst PP's I've seen against the Senators(which were fricken terrible). McCabe had a shot 5 seconds into the first one then the rest of the 3:55 of PP time consisted of the leafs fetching the puck out of their own end.

The game was there for the taking, stupid mistakes by Mrs. Kaberle(Don Cherry ) really cost the team.

The leafs need to exploit Malakhov and Markov. Malakhov is about as bad a skater as Antropov, sending Nieuwendyk or Mogilny out everytime they're on the ice could help with getting some offence going. Sundin should be ready for Game 3 while Nolan could be back late in the Series but I doubt he'd be effective. Philly's offence is superior to the leafs, but there D is weaker now due to those injuries.

I feel bad for Nieuwendyk, although he didn't play his best game tonight, he's been flying these playoffs. Yet, he's stuck on a line with two worthless hockey players(Ponikarovsky being the better of the two).

Finally, who the **** is Clarke Wilm, FFS, Stajan is much better then this no name yet Quinn doesn't keep him in the line up. Heck, I prefer Belak to be in the lineup.

BTW, Flames win in OT.

And Chatterbox, quit hating on the leafs. This series has nothing to do with toughness. The leafs are even if not superior to Philly on toughness. The winner of the series will be the team who plays the more efficient game by sticking to their system. Hitchcock has a good system and has his team playing good hockey.

I get the timeshifting channels as part of the package which means I get all the West/Mountain versions of the main channels.

Had CBC-West in picture-in-picture yesterday so watched both games at once.

and I've said it a million times before, Kaberle is ******* worthless... why he would decide to pursue a career as a defenseman is beyond me

and to be honest Ponikarovsky's one of my favourite players... he can do it all - hard working, great shot, some speed, can pass... wayyyyy better than Antropov
