And Aaron, if any of the teams fail to beat an inactive side then frankly they don't deserve to go through. :S i.e. everyone should beat them and gain three points so it's as if they're not even in the group at all so their results would be irrelevant.

I still dont get why Managerzone staff are allowed to break the rules!

If its so important that he has a managerzone.com email address then why not just ask the MZ team?

the teams tactics will be set, they will only field 11 players and it will just be a dead team. Think of it as an email account, the team was accidently entered, I seriously wouldnt enter them on purpose, mainly cos I know for a fact they wont get past the group stage and they wouldnt win it, I just clicked on the wrong button.

Its a second account, ONLY used for e-mail purposes, the team I think is actually bankrupt and the players are just as crap as when I started. A MZ staff is not really allowed another team, I just created as I didnt get any replies from big companies like JB Sports simply cos my e-mail had 'nemesis' in it, which isnt the most friendly name.

The team as far as im concerned is dead, they are just as inactie as all the other inactive teams and I think they may have been relegated last season or moved down to the lowest leagues. As for the cup games, I doubt the team could even score against their opponents, let alone win it.

Just a mistake, I made. I had all of this talk with the whole of Sweden which was eventually sorted out.

Its not cheating, it would be if I actually ran the team and started transferring players to my AFC Swish team (not that any of them would get into my team), the kit has not been touched and neither has the players. The only thing in terms of doing something to the team, was demolishing the stadium, to stop the team getting any income.

Sorry to all involved, im new so just put this down to naivety.

I am incredibly surprised by the response by everyone to someone who has 2 teams when it currently says in the rules that you can only own one team.
I play managerzone because I love playing against other human managers. I prefer that than a easy league full of inactive managers.

If your job for managerzone is so important where you liaise with companies like JB Sports then why wont the managerzone team give you a Managerzone.com email address?

The reason we trust him as he's the master game assistant for England for over a year and also helps with other countries, as well as working closely with crew. We know he's not cheating, it'd be pretty obvious if he ever tried to cheat, not that he would as there's too much at stake to risk. If I thought he was cheating I wouldn't defend him, but I don't think he is, so... :p

And about inactive teams, it happens in every lowest division in every country, one more will hardly hurt. I'd be surprise if any div6 had 8 active managers, so it makes little difference, a minute one. If they were all full up then you'd have a point.

And we don't know how the game works... say he didn't have that team. Say someone wanted to cause trouble and registered as "steve_wishart", they'd then get a team and access to the steve_wishart mz email addy... that's what I'd assume is what would happen. But I don't know for sure, but it seems most likely.

They could then send lots of emails to people or companies such as JB Sports pretending to be him... not a good idea.

Yes, c'mon. :D

Won 5-1 away to a team ranked 37 a week ago, was 5-0 up by 40 mins... then my team seemed to stop bothering and let them back into it and didn't score in the second half.

But the damage was already done by then, just a shame all three penalties in the game were missed, two by my striker with 8 shooting 1 set plays... maybe try out my 6 set plays 2 shooting midfielder instead now. :S

But one more win and I'm almost through I think... last game is to a team ranked outside the 100000 mark so I should win that...

In fact, as long as I win my final game (99.99% sure), a draw would be enough, as I'd be a point clear of Hansted even if they win both their remaining games, and two clear of Dragon Arsenal even if they win their final game... they both play each other as well.

As long as I avoid defeat and then win, I may qualify from a cup group at the second attempt (Heros Cup went badly for me even though I finished second in my group :( ). :bob:

2nd place needs to win his next game and HAS to beat me in my final game to go ahead of me by one point. However, I have played him before and won both 5-0 and 8-0, so Im pretty certain im gonna win, or at least get a draw :p

Okay, after beating the 37 ranked side with ease, my side then brushed Polish div2 team Dragon Arsenal aside, and strolled to an 8-0 win. :o

Once again it could've and should've been more, but I'm not complaining with an 8-0 win! I'm basically through now and that lowly ranked Italian side may be on the receiving end of a similar scoreline as todays match. :D
