2 Fifas

Hi, i want to run 2 fifas in my computer:
1. one with the 3 patches,
and
2.another with no patches

i installed fifa from scratch, and did a back-up of the main folder.

and then i installed the 3 patches in the fifa,

now, i have the back-up to run the fifa with now patches.

is this the right way to do this?

everything is in database file fifa.db,you can do everything you can put everything in game (i have 200 stadiums more,100 faces more etc.and after you want for example playing in net online game i mean official fEA site, simply copy the original fifa.db (this one must have always the same date from 02.09.2007, cant be overwritten!!!), so you can have 2 or more fifas one for playing at home and one for online game and third for second season and so many how many do you want, without any big work,for example i use more than 30 dresses in online game because for kits importing in game you do not need overwrite the database folder fifa.db, they are imported in z data with CM08 or with kits importer , you can add any third kits for team if the team does not have it but only for home play,this job need overwrite the database. its very simply you can have so many fifa .db how many do you want,for every season for every game does not matter what do you have in zdata. i play online with fifa-bigfat.exe and everything is OK.

so,
you are saying that i can take the original fifa.db located in FIFA 08\data\cmn

and pasted in my patched fifa, and i will have the fifa back to the default?

I have my fifa with the 3 patches,
and then i copied the original fifa.db to the fifa with the 3 patches, to have the fifa back to the default,
but when i tried to play with a friend that has a fifa with no patches, the game send a message: " You have a different version than your opponent".

so,

what i am doing wrong?

for any online games you need have the same fifa.db with frend, but is true i tried plying with my frend on-line and was unsuccessfull, way i do not know to this time,we treied everything but always i can play online FIFA08 only throught EA server,i have to this only one idea , he had not original fifa08, maybe therefore.
