2 fast

Why is my game running 2 fast ? It's not the demo I'm talking about... it's the full game... how can i fix this ?

turn on highest res
highest details
turn on v-sync in graphics card options
use some expander tool for game (there are plenty of them in Utilities Forum) to slow the game pace down (it was some line in config for game speed)

I have the same prob.

But it doesn't realy work for me, I've turned al my setting to the max and game_speed=0. Except I'm not sure how I can turn on v-sync. I have Nvidia GeForce 2 GO.

just go to options and change the game speed.

512MB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 2 GO

I get the same thing. My laptop is 1.3 Ghz, with inbuilt Intel graphics.

I've turned detail up high and put resolution up to its highest option.

I'll try the other options and let you know how I get on.

Did anyone of you instal the demo before? I had, in the beginning the gameplay was verry good, afterwords I installed an expander for it. And the problems began, the demo was playing to fast. I've uninstalled the expander but notting changed. Now with the full game I have the same problem, I've reinstalled windows so that nothing from the expander stayed in the registry. But still no good gameplay. Anyone got an idea?

Nope, didn't install the demo. I installed the game on another PC (couldn't wait to get home yesterday) and it seemed fine.

It's so strange... sometimes the game runs normal with normal speed and all that, and sometimes it's way 2 fast. It was normal when I rebooted my comp, and then when I rebooted it again it was 2 fast. REALLY STRANGE!

do you guys mean like too fast to seem realistic, or too fast to manage?

To fast to manage, I've called to the helpdesk of EA and they told me that I needed to update my DirectX to 9.0C and install new drivers for my vidcard. I did al that but without succes.

Anyone solved this problem yet? For once the game run nice in my pc, but the next time I tried, it was super speed again.
