I was 7 by that time. Still, that felt good. Baggio missing the penalty was such a shame. It should've been another guy, but anyway, É TETRA!!!!!!!! É TETRA!!!!!!!!! Gotta love Galvão (brazilians know the guy i'm talking about).(H)

My first post here in ages...

USA '94 was the first World Cup I saw on television, and I have so many great memories! Obviously I remember all the great things that Sweden did; Martin Dahlin's two headers against Russia, Kennet Andersson's goal against Brazil and of course the two magnificent headers against Romania and Bulgaria respectively, Tomas Brolin's goal and Thomas Ravelli's penalty saves against Romania, Henrik Larsson's goal against Bulgaria...

From the games where Sweden was not involved, I remember USA vs Switzerland (1–1) and the two great free kicks by Brégy and Eric Wynalda. In the same group, Gheorghe Hagi scored that wonderful goal for Romania against Colombia. And who can forget Saeed Owairan's goal when he ran through the entire Belgian team... Diego Maradona was back on the big scenes and hit the ball into the top corner against Greece... Swedish referee Bo Karlsson booked the wrong Nigerian player against Argentina... Roberto Baggio was substituted when Italian goalkeeper Pagliuca was sent off against Norway (Italy still managed to win the game thanks to a header by Dino Baggio)... Jürgen Klinsmann received the ball at the edge of the area, turned around and scored a great goal against South Korea... Roger Milla made history when he became the oldest player to score in a World Cup game (against Russia)...

And that was just the group stage...
