10 things I'd like in FIFA 2004

Keegan

Yardie
1) More National teams, particularly CONCACAF and CAF teams. (plus Holland and Japan?)

2)CC as it was in FIFA 2002 - Let us create competitions, teams, players etc. and let us assign any boots in the game to any player in the game.

3)Weather conditions. Varying conditions should affect gameplay in different ways... and it would be nice to see Real Madrid or Leeds leaving the field after a rainy game, all muddy! It would also be nice to be able to select the time for friendly games (day/night).

4)Scoreboard. I would like a fixed scoreboard in the stadiums that displays the teams playing and the current score. It should be visible if the camera happens to pass that area of the stadium, and at intervals such as half-time and full-time.

5)Substitution and Celebration cinematics. They really add to the enjoyment of the game, and I'm sure that I am not the only one who would rather see a cinematic than a loading scene, at a substitution.

6) Headers. I can't stress that enough. We want to make our own headers, whenever we choose.

7)Career-mode and at least one indoor-stadium (seven-a-side?)

8)More consideration for gamers with low-end machines. NHL 2002 had no problems with names and numbers on jerseys - but they became a big issue with FIFA gamers. We all can't (or refuse to) buy a Radeon 9700 pro graphics card in order to see one game properly.

9)I understand liscensing issues and costs, but it would be well worth your time and effort to include the Argentinian and Dutch leagues in future editions of Fifa - even at the risk of losing leagues such as the Denmark or Korean leagues. (I'd be willing to take that risk!)

10) Last but not least, GAMEPLAY. Give us a game that will make us want to keep on playing it, even after we have all bought FIFA 2005. I still play WC98 although so many advances have been made. If y'all have made it this far, thanks for reading. Cheers!

Youth Team
Ive thought of a great idea for fifa 2004.

Players dont just get fatigue in football games but throught the season. For example if you use the same player for 10 games straight, then his performance will go down and he wont play as good.

So in order to have a player with high performance rest him once in a while. Maybe you could have a new stats bar which says performance which is out of 10. 1 been the lowest on performance and 10 been the highest.

Also the fitness stats bar may affect the performance bar. For example the higher the fitness bar is the less chance a player has of getting fatigue. So therefore if a player has a high fitness, he wont get fatigue quickly and his performance stats bar will stay up longer!
