Evans should not be anywhere near the team.... everytime he steps on the pitch we concede goals. I don't even understand why SAF choose Evans instead of Smalling. Smalling showed why he should have been playing from the start.

And why take of Berba, he's the only player capable of keeping the ball, even under pressure. I hope the end of our unbeaten run will see a better performance away from home. How ironic...losing your unbeaten status against the worst team in the league.

The damage is limited, but considering the tough games coming up, we need every point. Seven points could have done wonders, now Arsenal gains a point.....

We are still in a very good position though. We had to lose a game in the end. Tomorrow Chelsea can lose points against Liverpool.

Agree with Evans. He should be in the reserves right now. He's absolutely crap at heading the ball. He's young so I have hope with him, but right now he should stay away from the first team. He should be down to our 5th best defender behind Vidic, Ferdinand, Smalling and Brown.

Yeah, I never really thought we'd get through without a loss...but a loss to the 20th team in the table is simply unacceptable.

If I were Fergie, I would've read them the riot act after the game and then their sorry asses would have gone straight to the training ground to run punishment sprints.

We cannot afford to lose points to garbage teams in the run-in. Dropped points are only acceptable to Arsenal or Chelsea. No one else has any business taking points from us.

I am not even worried about Chelsea....Arsenal is in the best position of overtaking us, apart from Newcastle, us and the Spurs they don't have any difficult games....if you compare it to our program. We have five potential tough games, with Chelsea 2x, Arsenal away, Liverpool away and City @ home

If I am correct we still have 13 games to play....we need to win atleast 11 if Arsenal manage to win their games (including against us), which I don't see happening, but you never know....

I just don't understand how Evans has become that bad......he used to have players such as Drogba, Torres etc for breakfast, lunch and dinner. This season he even let's Carlton Cole look like the best striker in the world....

Carlton Cole is a pretty good striker and unless you think kicking Drogba in the chest as 'having him for breakfast, lunch and dinner', you're wrong.

^ Thank you! :D

Finally, it turned out to be a good weekend afterall :D. We lost 3 points but both Arsenal and Chelsea failed to take advantage of it. Well Arsenal advanced by 1 tiny little point. We're still 10 points ahead of Chelsea and 4 points ahead of Arsenal. Awesomeness.

At least Liverpool did us a favor but the weekend was still a disaster for us.

Yeah I know just what you mean, the damage has been limited by just losing one point....7 points would have helped a lot. But it's typical United, we always have to do it the hard way.....

To be honest, this loss was coming. The way United have made comebacks in matches like against Aston Villa(from 2-0 to 2-2) and their latest against Blackpool have been out of this world. However, they held a good run and if they keep that up despite this loss then the title will definitely be in reach but United have a very tough schedule ahead of them now.

I hope this loss gives a big kick in our players' asses and make them realise that they are not unbeatable. I think it'll be more positive than negative. This run of unbeaten games made our players overconfident.

Btw we are still unbeaten in the FA Cup and UCL :bouncy:

City next. Hope we rip apart that little Argie's ass.

It looks like we will be playing without Rio (unless it was a scam for not letting him play for England this week).....

Hahaha. I hope so. If he played, he wouldn't be in good shape for that game. He's out for 2 weeks so will probably miss that game. As long as Evans is kept far from the first team I think we should do fine. Smalling is very good. I'm sure Fergie will go with Smalling this time. Evans was so bad the last game that even Fergie had to remove him in favour of Smalling.

I predict a draw. Or a narrow win.

Trash talk in the Liverpool thread after they beat Wolves

LOL

I stand by my sarcastic comment implying that they are a bad team. I suppose over the course of a season every team will have a few bad games. Bayern are having about a decade's worth this year.
