Check out the center spot, it's like 2 cm higher than the rest of the field, looks like a mini golf pad.

Haha, he called the assistant ref "The AR". (H)

Yeah, I noticed that. What's up with the blue wall all around the field? What is Pizza Hut Park?...Giants Stadium West?

I gotta go to bed, but I'd love to hear this guy announce a game winning goal.

"Might we be going to penalty kicks? I hope not." (H)

Can you imagine if the Open Cup had replays? 4 rematches of this shit would be unbearable.

Haha yea it would, this is on Monday because Dallas has a FRIENDLY against Tigres on Wednesday so they couldn't play it then. This is Atlanta's 3rd match in 5 days, they were in Charleston last Wednesday, at home on Saturday.

Great effort for them, as ugly as it was. Hope they can pull it out here.

http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/columns/story?columnist=wojciechowski_gene&id=2936205

typical espn.com article bashing the MLS although this snippet:
"Still, The Times of London recently ranked him the 34th best footballer on the planet, which is nice. And my employer, ESPN, plans to keep a Beck-cam on him during upcoming broadcasts. According to The Times, the camera "will track the player's last pick of his nostril."

So is wojciechowski bashing the people he works for? That will make any game Beckham is in unwatchable pretty much.

I'm an avid reader of ESPN columnists and Wojciechowski is by far the worst. The guy doesn't have a clue about anything, especially soccer. He's just obsessed with trying to ruin the career of Barry Bonds. I wouldn't pay any attention to him.

Well if you don't finalise you will be penalised. We hit the bar twice and got punished in a counter atack.

Angel was horrible today. He missed a couple of headers that were almost half goals and that elbow in the end was uncalled for.

That is the worst case scenario going into the DC game. :(

Boo...I was all psyched to watch the Crew game in 10 minutes, and I just discovered that it isn't on the local channel that I thought it was. :(
