Uhm....dude...obviously those guys were awesome, and obviously they did good things in the Eredivisie and wherever else they played.....
And obviously, Kalou is a good player....but all I'm saying is keep it in your pants until he actually does something in another league......Kezman turned out to suck in the EPL, and he was a goal machine in the Eredivisie....maybe Kalou is the next Ronaldo (doubt it) and if he is, more power to him, and more power to you, but don't bruise your knees up just yet....wait until he's actually done something.....

Ur comments are disappointing and most vulgar.

Kalou has played just two years [3 years]of topflight football. he went on loan in his frist year.

That said, i am sure Kalou is well known. He is a kid. what did u want me to say, by the way? watch out for this man? watch out for this oldie?

Ur comments can oly open u to great ridicule and embarassment. u should go into ur home and weep in shame. U call Salomon Kalou random? the winner of the 2005 Cruijff trophy. well, i guess if u do not play in the EPL, u are considered random. watch him for chelsea this season. Yes, he is a chelsea boy. is he random now?

:| Dear kaycee, get some pratice on connecting sentences before returning, please.

And Kalou will get decent play time, at least Chelse won't retain Eidur nor, as it seems, Crespo (at last they seem to not tend to over-inflate their squad).

Romario, Ronaldo, Van Nisterroj, Van Basten??? why?? does it make thier hateful stance weaker? hmmm
no, its because they played in Holland last f*cking millenium

Sonck, Ibrahimovic, see where im going?

Just because a player can score for fun in Holland, doesnt mean thats going to translate into a more defensive and physical league.

Oh Ruud Van Nisterooj? he was crap at united. he played for PSV, just like Kezman. Van Nisterooj must have been useless.
You probably never watched the EPL before the last season.

And your comments are ridiculous and pointless.....so we are even...

Oh....and disappointing as well so you win.....

Compare Kalou to one of those legends when he actually does something, and then I'll agree with you.....but to list the best players ever to score goals in the Dutch league as proof for your argument is just plain

Good luck to Kalou, I hope he doesn't turn out like the last Chelsea goalscorer signed from the Dutch league...which obviously has more relevance to the situation than bringing up guys from 10 or 15 years ago....

Thank you Kaycee

Don't be knocking our Dutch league. Sure we can't buy the arived world class players, but unlike in England generally we know how to prep players for the top level properly and the results are way more often good. Let's see players who went abroad and did well in the last 10 years from Holland's league: Davids, Seedorf, Kluivert, Hasselbaink, Nistelrooij, Ronaldo, Stam, Cocu, Reiziger, Robben, VD Sar, Chivu, Numan, Zenden, Ronald and Frank De Boer, Gio, Van Bommel, Park, Lee. The list goes on. Don't be knocking our league just cause Kezman failed, and we knew he sucked anyway cause he couldn't score any goals in like 3 champions league campaigns, and in all fairness, he barely got any serious long chances at Chelsea to really get comfortable and find his form. It's not just his fault he failed there.

Not knocking the league...I actually enjoy the few games I get to watch....and many of my favourite players are Dutch, but I just think that to declare this guy in the same sentence as Ronaldo, Romario and Van Basten is a bit much....
But whatever....I grow tired of this debate.....

why even bother, my friend! ;)

I saw Eto'o when he was 20 - Kalou's age - he was not as good as Kalou is now.

You could see the natural talent, but in Africa, we called him sir-mis-alot! ha ha ha

If Kalou develops the way i expect, he will be better than Eto'o

Well, that's encouraging and I hope youre right, but with Kalou coming in as third choice at Chelsea, my worry, as with every young player is that he isnt going to get his chance. Still, with the ability to play out wide, he will have more opportunities than most, especially if Wright-Phillips struggles again. But if he is a replacement for Carlton Cole, who got a good look last year in a few games, then I am very happy, because he has the same raw speed and size, but actually seems to have skill to go with it.

Nobody is knocking the dutch league. Its just a fact that defense isnt a way of life there, and because of that, numbers look inflated.

I would tend to agree that Kezman got no chance at Chelsea but the fact is he was given 10+ starts and at least 20 minutes at the end of most games as a sub to showcase his "predatory instincts" and did absolutely nothing with them. His best Chelsea moment was playing in a cross to Eidur Gudjohnsen, ironically. I still cant believe we turned a profit on him

Big Al, I am not sure what u are ranting about.

As a Nigerian, it pains me to admit that Eto'o is possibly the best player in Africa for the last 3 years. We [Africans] all saw Eto'o grow up. i saw him at 20, so u cannot tell me what i saw. What I saw then was a very talented player who had terrible finishing and was very very inexperienced. I can say that he was not as good as Kalou is now. As I said earlier, we used to call Eto'o "sir-miss-alot." which is a pun on the famous american rapper/Dj "sir-mix-alot. we gave Eto'o that name, becus he has the worst finishing Most of us had seen.

About winning? Kalou is a chelsea player, so winning should be no problem for him.m As for personal awards? he has already started -"Johan Cruijff trophy in 2005."
