it isn't about the CPU tactics or whatever. it's like the CPU programmed your players to do stupid mistakes. like crossing at your own end of the field and the opposing player heads the ball in. raul bravo-esque. what's worst was like there was no reason to cross to your own penalty box, since no one was pressurising him :(

then there was another time when the keeper tried to dribble past an opposing player. not once, but twice in a match. needless to say, he got punished twice. and he was actually one of the most reliable players so far that season. :( fabien barthez?

don't get me wrong here. i love the game. i still win like 85% of the matches. losing about 5%. but sometimes you really can't help thinking that in order for the CPU to give you a challenging match, it has to resort to "underhand" methods to win the game or something.

I have been at Man UTD for like 650 days, and I have lost more in my last 8 games of this season than I did ever since I started.

I have scored well over 300 goals and conceded about 50. I don't even watch the 2d view because it's shocking, like someone said they pass it back to the GK who then kicks it 6 yards in-front of him landing at the CPU player.

Ah well, what can you do.

The funny thing is that for me, the CPU is the one that makes ridiculous mistakes. One of my goals against ManU was the defender played a backpass, and the keeper actually passed the ball to my striker who casually first-timed it in.

I have also seen a goalkeeper miss a backpass and let it in by accident.

It never seems to happen to me, though my defenders do sometimes do bizarre things like pass across my goalmouth when they are unpressurised and could just dribble upfield. So far, despite a few scares, I've not conceeded any stupid goals like that.

The thing that gets on my nerves though, is when a really rubbish striker with 6 finishing and 8 long shots will curl a 30-yard banana shot into the top corner that would bring a tear to Beckham's eye. Admittedly, I didn't complain when my defensive midfielder Bosingwa scored a FIFTY-FREAKING-YARD lob over Roy Carroll. Sometimes players seem to completely defy their stats.

Yep they do, I mean when I have Rooney on the left, Ronaldo on the right and Ruud up front, I don't expect them to miss the target 6 times out of 12 chances, yet someone with 12 for finishing can score 4 goals with absolute ease?
