I agree, 5 years is not enough time to do anything. I really hope it's at least 15-20. within 5 years maybe you could get to the epl, but i doubt you come become a powerhouse in the epl in 5 years especially if you start in d3. And then after 5 years you have to start all over again! how irritating and annoying?!?!?

5 years is okay, I guess. It's the minimum. If it was anything less it would be not respectable. 5 years is still a lot of games. 40 league games x 5 + CL League, ect. You can always play with different teams. There might be a mod made in the future to increase this time.

WRONG.

English Division 1, 2, and 3 are the Nationwide League.

The Nationwide Conference is a seperate English league that is comprised of 22 teams that play unofficially and are seperated from Division 1, 2, and 3.

5 years isn't enough to build up a poor team into a good one. bulid up prestige points. i highly doubt it will be 5 years. it's just not enough to bulid up a 3rd div team, or build up enough prestige to move to other more great clubs.

okay.. then I dont think it has the nationwide conference.. just the leagues

5 years wouldnt be long enough.

division 3 to premiership = 3 years

win premiership 1 year

win champions league 1 year = 5 years.

Game shouldnt be easy enough on hardest level to do this straight away in 5 years i hope not anyway.

if so it will be boring no matter how many options.

I want a game where you struggle to actually win not win every year then start again

yeah I saw the 5 year career mode and was a little surprised that they said that. I hope it is a mistake as I would want it to last a lot longer.

I doubt it will be five years. No all other franchise, dynasty modes have been for atleast 20 years even on the PS1. The only reason I could see for making it five years is if EA went bush league like Winning Eleven and didn't put in player progression/regression but I hope that is no true.

5 years is more than enough people, seriuosly, can anybody tell me that they've played more than 3 seasons with one team? im mean, i would get bored really easily that way. i know that with the carrer mode you can go to other divisions, but still, 3 divisions so by the fourth year you are in the premier league and then have 2 seasons in there, i think its good. and in italy youll be able to play more serie A seasons cuz i dont think that EA put more than seria A and B i had a post some time ago saying that carrer mode wasnt going to be forever! i think i said it was olny for 3 years so i was pretty close lol i knew i was right! it was to good to be truth the carrer mode thing

it is not nearly enough. how can you possibly take a 3rd div team all the way to champions of europe in 5 seasons. i thought that was one of the reason behind the career mode. this 5 season is crap. in a game like madden it takes you years to build a superbowl winning team(unless you start with the best). thats the sort of challenge i was expecting from the career mode. as far as i can tell they shouldn't of wasted their time and concentrated on things like weather and other options. at this stage, unless i start reading alot of good **** about the demo there is little chance of me getting fifa at all.

YEH you can but then isnt the game to easy so whats the point i want to struggle not just win every game

How many seasons of FIFA 2003 did you guys play? Honestly. I don't really care about how many carrer mode years I got. Gameplay is what I want.

is there anything official about this yet? 5 years does not seem like enough?

sorry that was supposed to be a statement not a question.

not trying to piss anyone off but i guess most people that play fifa instead of winning eleven want easy gameplay and like to win every game so 5 years is probably ok for those people
