I finally got a chance to play UEFA with the patch, and what can i say? IT MAKES THE GAME SO MUCH BETTER! THANK YOU! You guys really did listen to what we had to say. As I played the game, i was crossing 'wishes' off of the UEFA WISH LIST, and believe me, i crossed off LOTS.

Also, the cheat that changes the animation for players running is HILARIOUS LOL!!!!!!

But, yes, the patch did make a huge difference in a lot of areas.

No one ever told me about the cheats though! I'm on my way to check them out.

i wasnt going to say it myself.

yes, the patch is a big improvement on the game. but that means NOTHING. the original game was unfinished and does not even classify as a real game.

The patched version is the real game, and it falls short of its potential by a long shot.
While the UC Dev team did attempt to address some of the requested issues, actually playing the game for a while its plain to see that their efforts were not completed.

Many of the things we said were of MAJOR importance were not touched or not fixed satisfactorily. Sure, its better than the original, but as I said, that doesnt count cuz the original was incomplete.

So it pains me to say that this game is STILL incomplete and falls far short of its potential.
And if anyone thinks its best game ever, well I think you need to actually go out and play REAL football and see what the sport is all about.

I just PRAY that the UC team are considering another patch, from which they can salvage some dignity and produce a game worthy of paying customers and actually compete against other soccer sims.

Requiem: unfortunately all PC games released these days are incomplete and need a patch... and we are lucky it works, for - once.
