Hey!
I keep having a strange problem with FIFA 14 on PS3. The thing happens in both tournament mode and manager mode. It looks like this:
I'm playing a game against some team. At a random moment, after some interruption in the game (usually after a goal but not only) the commentators stop talking, the tribunes get totally silent, the clock disappears and the away team's player name. Only the home team's player name in the left corner stays. If I try to enter the menu, the game will freeze and I can't even exit it. The only help is to restart the whole system. If I ignore it, I can keep playing the match but at half-time or full time nothing will happen. I mean, the final score will not show up and the players will just stand around on the field scratching their asses or jumping or whatever they do in FIFA. I can't do anything then. Again, I can only restart the PS3.
This happened to me on tournament mode as well as manager mode on 3 different saves. The funny thing is that it happens always against the same opponent for at least one season:
Save 1: it has crashed in all matches against Eintracht, plus one game against Schalke. Next season though, it crashed against Köln, Olympique Marseille (Champions League) and some other team so far (didn't finish this season yet) . The game against Eintracht went ok though.
Save 2: it has crashed in all matches against América CF. I don't remember if there was any crash against other team. Only one season played here.
Save 3: it has crashed in all matches against Ajax (league + cup) and once against Chelsea. Next season again Ajax (all games), again one game against Chelsea (tho the first one worked fine) and Benfica (first game ok, second game crashed). All 3 teams are in my league here, I put them into the MLS.
No matter what I do, the match against the "cursed" team will crash. If worth mentioning, two of all those crashes happened without any warning, like nothing had disappeared and the screen just froze in the middle of an action.
It's just a normal, uncustomised, unchanged PS 3 version of the game. What in the world can cause something like that??
