Okay guys I feel like I need you to stay updated.
As some of you may know, having mentioned it earlier, I am currently studying law at university.
A law degree is a challenging and demanding program (especially in France) that requires significant dedication not only during classes but also afterward, as it's necessary to understand and memorize these lessons, as well as the "Civil Code" (to simplify, a book that compiles all French laws). Moreover, a lot of reading is required, including specialized journals to stay updated on legal news, as well as history books and, of course, law books. This takes time, and I want to succeed.
However, to succeed while maintaining a social life and staying physically active (I go to the gym regularly and occasionally play football with friends), I need to make some sacrifices. I’ve decided to temporarily stop using my main computer (a gaming PC) and switch to a laptop without a graphics card to help me stay focused on my work. Nonetheless, this laptop is still quite powerful, as it has a Ryzen 7 processor and 16 GB of RAM.
This means that I can continue working on the patch. I can run EA FC without any issues (the menus run smoothly enough at 720p, but playing a match is horrible) to test it.
I apologize for this long paragraph, but I want to reassure you that I’m not abandoning the project. On the contrary, I will continue working on it, but at my own pace. I promise to use any breaks I get from university as opportunities to work on the patch. Thank you so much for all your support (this thread has reached 9,000 views, thank you infinitely), and I’ll do my best to release a beta version with one league, the Bulgarian league, as soon as possible. Other updates will follow. If you have any advice or suggestions, feel free to share them. I encourage you to get involved in this project, which is, above all, for you. One last thing before I let you go from this endless post: If you could let me know which league you would like to see added, I’ll prioritize the most mentioned ones. They don’t necessarily have to be on the list from the original post.
God bless you all
