Shooting is stupid!! HELP ME PLEASE??

How do you direct the ball into the top right or top left of the net? I know the power meter affects the height but why does the ball go straight to the keeper nearly every shot? Where is and how do you add after touch??? It is driving me CRAZY!!!

Use your keys on yer keyboard to direct the shot(ie. hold down left+up while shooting)

yes, one would think that should work.
however it only works intermittently.

I've found the best success when running at a certain angle (not straight at goal), combined with arrow keys and a certain amount of power (mid-way to high on the power bar). It seems to work some of the time, but is still unreliable and very difficult to do with any regularity.
It also meant u have to run at the goals at a certain angle in order to score (ala Fifa96).

I'm hoping this is one of the things to be fixed in the patch. We'll just have to wait and see I guess...
