I think the regular draft with that stat rating system for scores would be interesting. It would last for month so it will make it better.

Why would the scores have to be calculated every week? They could be calculated and updated once a month. The final outcome will be known at the end of the season.

The Euro is very different because there are many games in a short period of time.

A problem with this is that some players who play in remote leagues (e.g. Gignac or Xavi) will not be scored because Whoscored does not rate some leagues.

yea this would be stupid. Would FM be playable with 10-12 people? What do you guys think of FIFA rounds. I found it so painful to run last time. Is it worth the pain? I think it was alright but I was not watching most of the games I was recording.

I think Fifa is as unreliable as voting.

If we were to use whoscored the best way to do it would be to allocate a period of 4-6 'match weeks' and then each player would get their average score for all the games they play in that seven day block.

We could make it so that everyone has to tabulate their scores themselves each week and then the administrator just checks a couple at random (and of course anyone can double check people if they are suspicious)

The problem is that a player in the EPL would be getting much lower scores than an identical player in Ligue 1. You know how the EPL is way better than other leagues, don't you? Star players from the Estonia league would be getting better scores than Messi. This does not make this particular player the best player in the world.
