League table updated, teams Massive and Calumn separated by not even a full point so this is going to be tight for sure, will depend a lot on Portugal's performance I guess.
But nothing is decided and there's even the chance of someone else reaching the top because it all comes down to your players' NT progress really. Choose your captain wisely, he can be an important boost for your team.

Substitutions will be done automatically for almost everyone, will check who can still pick his subs and PM them. Everyone else doesn't need to bother with that.

The people at whoscored must be on drugs to give Kane over a 7 for that performance. No English player should have got above a five.

Anyway you'll win now massive - my englanders are all out and Thiago Motta is suspended. At least I can still just about field eleven players - I don't need to tell you which subs I want to bring on as it's all of them!

These ratings are really bizarre. Rooney got a 6.38 which is more than he deserved but I suppose not ridiculous, but De Gea got a 6.09!!! After all those fabulous saves and single handedly keeping the score line down....

I think De Gea's low score is because he coughed up the ball which lead to Italy's goal. Even then that's a harsh score.

I thought that was a good score just to parry it and the Spanish defenders were too slow to handle the rebound

Whoscored is unreliable. Squawka is better but I don't pay much attention to stats tbh. They mean nothing without context and there is no way to measure weight, technique, timing, control, choices,individual+collective positioning and psychological factors.

I believe the scores are completely bases on metrics and not the eye test so that's why they're often odd. I don't mind hem for a competition like this though.

Yeah it's not a complaint I prefer this method of scoring than biased voting or random FIFA simulations - just expressing surprise at those specific scores.

League table updated with the ratings from the Quarter-Final matches, lead is still Massive but Calumn is keeping the pressure high and will now benefit from having a couple more players in the scoring sheet for the Semis...this promises to be fierce!

Of course there's also kp41 nearing the front seats thanks to his apparently neverending german armada, he still has 11 players available FFS guess I'll be cheering for France to reach the final
