Career

My Career mod was updated on 12 & 14 July with the following changes

14 July
Players Individual Training
- Added composure to penalties
Simmed Matches
- Increased the ratings given to equal ratings given in a 3D match
Player Values
- Rewrote the Player Values to match https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/ (no affiliation)
Player Wages
- Increased wages for English Championship & League 1
Player Growth
- Increased youth growth slightly to counteract poor performance decrease

12th July
Players Wages
- Increased all players wages
Finance System
- Substantially lowered the amount of transfer budget smaller teams have
- Increased "Stadium Maintanence" by a large amount
Player Tier System
- Changed Player Contract Tier system (Prospect -> Crucial) so that first 11 players are "important" rather than "rotation"
- Changed Player Contract Tier system (Prospect -> Crucial) so that all youth players are "prospect"

Bugs fixed
- Fixed bug in Player Contract Tier system (Prospect -> Crucial) where some players were using "tier 0" which doesn't exist

Sacking was re-enabled in Alpha 13/14 too for those who wanted this.

Gameplay

My Gameplay mod has been updated quite a bit which had really positive feedback on Discord. There is a lot more physicality without over the top amount of cards in Beta 9 & Alpha 30. Give them a try!

Okay so after 6 hours of gameplay these are the things i think your mod is lacking;(CPUvsCPU)
1- AI is doing a lot of fouls.
2- AI crosses a lot and it would be better if AI would use low crosses.
3- AI is making a lot of passing mistakes.
4- I don't think that the AI is playing according to our tactics.
5- Players should do more 1v1 with the minimum amount of errors.

If you can improve these points i would really be happy and if you don't have time can you please explain me how i can do it ?

I am not familiar with modding so i tried to change the values of your locale.ini file but they had no effect on the game. Thx a lot if you care about what i said so far.

I have made some changes to it myself if you would like to try it

I have increased the response and dribbling of players slightly and tweaked the shooting, passing a crossing. Do you know if there is a way to tweak things so that fast players stay ahead of defenders?

I have been having a play around with this file and found a style I really like. It's competitive, tight and with the response of older Fifas

I have increased the shooting, heading and crossing as you get few chances to do them. I am getting games were I get opposition players sent off for fouling my best players

This is my first attempt at a FIFA game play mod, but used to regularly release them for PES back in the PS2 days

I was looking to change 3 things in the locale file, does anyone know if it is possible to achieve any of these?

1-Make the A.I. score more from free kicks - They have not scored a single goal

2-Make my players do more fouls while tackling - I almost never make fouls

3-Make the first touches better - The players are losing too much control of the ball on their first touch

The latest patch makes the game a lot easier

I played the game a lot yesterday and made changes to my local.ini file which is based on Paulv2k4's file. There is two files there, one is slower and the other has a little more response

Needs passing speed dropped down to around 43 for both teams and marking up to 55

Then from there set the speed of the two teams to how you want it

It's still a work in progress and not as good as my last patch combined with the last fifa update, but the new update from fifa has messed up a lot of stuff

I'm using no Mods, just Paul's gameplay version 11 Beta 9.
I think the main issue is that I'm playing the Brazil League, and the stats average of players would be in the 73-77 range. I was wondering if there is any way to make the A.I. play like his team had a "handicap" to their player stats, like if they were 83-87 average?

you have already been asked twice and not answered. What are your current sliders. So many on here moan the game is too easy but when asked for simple things what they sliders are they dont want to know.
Theres no magic solution to making the game harder. but sharing things like sliders will help us see what can be done to make it harder.
Why ask for help in the first place? Its a two way street. people cant be helped unless we know what their actual set up is. sliders included.

it dpesnds on what style you like. for harder and attacking then i would have the main sliders equal for cpu and user.
i would have marking at 80/80. FBP at 100/100. RF at 100/100. HLW at 50/50/55(for both)GK at 80/80(keeps scores down and makes harder)
And these will interact with your mods and ini. Sliders are complex and only EA really understand them. Everyone else is just guessing and using trial and error to work out whats best for them
I play on ultimate level and the game is currently vv hard.
dont forget to restart your game every two matches or it soon gets vvvv easy. Insane i know but thats the fifa EA have given us. Some matches are scripted a certain way and nothing can change that. the scripting cannot be removed

Love the sliders ! Anybody feels still teams are playing a bit too much on the wings ? Maybe it was just because i played english teams but i feel nowadays many teams have even wing players cut inside much more.

turn off the ai objective 'work it to the flanks'. it should help.
