Can't make my mind up about the kit. Prefer last season's to be honest.

Loving the new goalie kit though. Kinda thought they'd have a blue kit. Hopefully, the other one will be black or grey.

The thing is, for the United kit photoshoot, there are a few players present from the reserves who were released in May, such as Phil Marsh (bottom row, 2nd from right). Can't remember who else was released but the fact that they're in there plus the lack of Foster, Evans, Simpson goes to show how early this design was confirmed. I wouldn't be surprised if the shoot was taken before the end of last season.

It may well be the goalie jersey, Celtic have one similar in two-tone grey.

I think the kit you mean is light grey, not golden. as far as i know they had a white shirt, a grey shirt and a red shirt.

the carling logo wont be on the shirt at all, its just a mock made for show purposes. the deal with carling relates to the club now using carling and its related brewiers to provide drink at the club, ending its relationship with scottish&newcastle breweries.

which could be a bit **** really, liviing in newcastle as i do, its actually pretty hard to get newcastle brown ale in most places and now with this i wouldnt be suprised if alot of other pubs in the toon move towards carling instead of s&n pubs. might have a knock effect with the brewery

The grey shirt was 05-06 i think
in the 06-07 season they had this gold kit as third, if you look closer, you can see the watermarks on the brown stripe

They had a grey kit in 04/05 and 05/06, but 06/07 was definitely gold with dark red like in that pic (Puma v1.06 style, rather than the new V-Konstrukt style)
