First of all, Khris thanks again for another great patch for MLS fans out there. I noticed that Columbus has 31 players and it might be one of the reasons that the patch isn't working.

yeah, i noticed that too. one of the players is no longer on the roster but it still crashes when trying to play in manager mode.

That's the reason for the crash, 31 players. I some out that are no longer on the roster and it works.

I notice in one of the patches was the youth players, that will definitely cause problems, and perhaps when players are on more than one club team, that may cause problems too. A weakness of using creation master with big patches is that not all the details can be imported or ajusted by everybody with out really detailed instructions. Even with importing different .cmps together , the countries get messed up for some players. Like I have a team from like belize or aruba or something, but all their players are from Puerto Rico.

I'm putting together all the patches together into one big patch. I'm taking out the bugs too. I know it's late, on the eve of Fifa 09, but it at least it will be done.

USL 2 is basically done, just a few kits need to be done.

So together with the MLS, USL 1, 2, and Concacaf Champions league, will al be together and work together in one patch. Please be patient as I organize it all.

Khris, great MLS update by the way, it's great!

If anybody did get a hold of the honduran league from katracho, I would like to have it.

Ok, so I went back and did a fresh install again.

Loaded the 2008_MLS-USL_Patch_2.0.cmp

Loaded the MLS Final cmp (looks like San Jose was linked properly)

Removed one player from Columbus.(31 players was causing the crash)

Started an MLS tournament & SUCCESS!!! No problems through the first few games. I'll have to try a USL tourney next.

Loaded the 2008_MLS-USL_Patch_2.0.cmp

No problem in Manager mode using USL team after playing just one pre-season game.

for me it crashes as soon as i pick ny redbulls and click to continue.

I really do wish that everything was streamlined and all the kinks could be worked out - I think donovanfan will be able to do that better than I could - since's he's been doing this longer than I have!!!

What I had to do before I was able to get the MLS & USL patches to work was to:

- Lower all youth player IDs that are on rosters to under 400000
- Extend ALL expired and 2008 contracts to 2009
- Checked the days of the week that the MLS, USL & US Open Cups games are held so two games wont be on the same day
- One thing I noticed I did that got the US Open cup to work is to have the first two rounds (8 games each) last for three weeks, the quarter finals (4 games) last for two weeks and the semi-finals and final take place in one week. It seemed to give the rounds enough time to be completed and not interfere with the MLS and USL regular seasons and playoffs.
