I am sure that SAF will be getting a midfielder. Cleverley might be another option as well....but I don't see that happening.....

Giggs played more as left winger this season. At a point we had only him and Nani left and he had to play Left midfield every week.

true, but then again, Valencia is a more physical player than Nani is and i think that is a big part of SAF's thinking.

Yes but his form dropped significantly after this injury:

Young has agreed terms lads! Although we don't need a winger with this squad, Fergie was probably thinking at Giggs replacement there.

Btw I'm reading Bebe has been loaned out to Besiktas? Bad move if true. For a guy who needs to understand English language and the EPL why would you send to Turkey? That'd be useless.

whats the rationale behind ashley young's signing? I really dont get it. we alresdy have nani and valencia. We need to strengthen the centre of midfield. Surely SAF has recognized that. But all this money being thrown around for these british players is makin me uncomfortable. will we get that midfielder.

Giggs replacement. Even though Giggs has 1 more year. Priority should've been Scholes AND Hargreaves replacement.

I remember Fergie saying few months ago that we will make 3 signings. I hope the 3 signings are not just Jones, Young and De Gea although the latter is far from a done deal.

Maybe Fergie's mind will change after Scholes retirement. Or maybe he thinks Gibson is the man -_-

Nothing is official about any of the players we have been linked to also.

Can't tell whether thats a genuine account or not. I have a feeling its not. It has 38 000 + likes though.

What worries me is that we have not been strongly linked with any midfielders yet. I don't really trust the Sneijder rumours. And Nasri is just impossible.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that Besiktas has entered talks to sign Bebe. What a waste of money thanks to Carlos QueerArse.

England U21 vs Spain U21 in less than 2h. Would be interesting to see Smalling and Jones play together if both of them start. Welbeck, Cleverley and De Gea will probably feature too. Would be interesting to watch!

EDIT: Just realised Mancienne is in the team despite the fact that he's 23. So he'll most likely start ahead of either Smalling or Jones then.

At least some football to watch. Spain is way stronger. They have WC winners Mata and Javi Martinez in their squad along with players like Bojan and Muniain. I know nothing about the latter, but he used to be a superstar in FM. Gonna see him in real life for the first time.

Thiago is the better one. 4-3-3 De Gea, Montoya, Botía, Domínguez, Didac, Javi Martínez, Ander Herrera, Thiago, Jeffren, Mata y Adrián.
