Try this, get the 2 untouched databases from the link I gave you, open each db in db master and extract the "formations" table for each db and dont get the 2 exported formations tables confused.

Edit the db's in CM, then import the original formations table into the CM edited db's with the original formations table and then test.

Let me know what happens, I think I have an idea of what your issue is.

Just so you know the issue is that when you edit with CM it reads all info in the db and tries to make sense of it.

As you know some had a crash at the Messi screen and the way I fixed that is by adding useless placeholder data to the db. When you save with CM it re id's this data causing a conflict in the formations table.

It would do the same thing to my tournament tables in the compdata if we weren't using the file loader tool.

Jimmy you must not be doing something correctly, all these poeple you see posting had that crash and now they dont.

Do you have origin, is it installed to the C drive.

Did you start with a fresh FIFA (Delete Current FIFA 14 folder and reinstall or delete the contents and paste a fresh backup into the FIFA 14 folder)?

Something tells me you are not using the station tool that switches between the 2 new databases because that crash is from the old database.

The new station tool pulls the db info from a new folder not the original one we we first released.

Start the game from the station tool not origin.

That means the game is not loading the DB. What you can do to fix it, copy the contents of fcwd (db and loc) in fcwdata. Try if it fixes it.

You probably didn't follow the instructions. Follow it carefully and I assure you, you can play this patch.

Yes in CM but read back on how to edit in CM properly. I had a problem editing but jschuck has advised me how to do it properly.

Its the same DB, makes no sense as you were just playing it the last couple days, all I did is remove some graphic files to keep Japan and other teams from freezing. Run the station tool icon from the fwc tool folder.

I am doing that, yes I have the switcher it does show both db's and the different tournaments.

Have you done this fix? Because that did it for me. After the update 2 I was also crashing from Messi screen then another when the game is about to start, now I don't anymore after that fix posted.

If in update 2 you're not experiencing any crash, why don't you just revert back up to that version?
