Hello everyone,

sorry for the perhaps stupid question....
But somehow I don't quite understand it.
I would like to start in career mode (Germany / Bundesliga) with Champions League and Europa League.
Is that even possible? If so, what do I have to set in Tournament Manager?
I hope someone can help me.

Is only octomber but today i will try to play and reach on january/ february on carrer mode

I ran the same tests and eventually it crashed in March with the Carabao Cup enabled and the FIFA Inter Cup disabled. I think the Carabao Cup has to be removed for a PL career mode to work. That said, when I removed the Inter Cup and kept the Carabao Cup for an Eredivisie career mode, I was able to sim the entire thing, so you can ironically keep the Carabao Cup unless you're using a PL team.

Thank you both of you for responding. I did some research and it seems that scouser09 has confirmed this problem and has recommended removing the Carabao cup as a short term solution. However I don't want to break europa league. Will it have a major impact on europa league if I remove Carabao cup?

Also do I need to start a new career mode? The FIP Tournament Manager tells me that I can't continue an existing career mode after making changes.

One last question; do I need to press "Install career compdata" after deleting the tournament?

There won't be any effects on the Europa League if you remove the Carabao Cup. I ran a test sim and the same number of English teams were there without the Carabao Cup as there would be with it.

You would need to start a new career if you change the tournament data using tournament manager and yes, you need to click "install career compdata" after removing the tournament.

Has no one figured out how to work with CM16 after all this time? With a little brainstorming, you can easily figure out how tournaments work and what their mistake is. You know when crashes happen, you know with what teams, you have conditions for the task initial data, act, analyze. Stop waiting for Santa to fly to you on a blue helicopter and show you a movie for free. Be active!!!!!!!!!!!!

Im using the NW version with Viktoria Berlin, you should not have to change anything as i have had no problems

I also use the nw version. I have no problems with crashes. However, I don't have any European games with Dortmund (uefa Champions League or Europa League).

Is that not possible? Not even with the old group stage?
If it does, what do I have to set here?

I unfortunately don't use CM 16 apart for regenerating the bh files. It never struck me that I could figure out the source of the crash though CM 16. I tried opening the crash.dmp file but it gave me weird symbols, I didn't try troubleshooting using external tools.

Hi not sure as i have just got promoted to the 3rd league so europe is not an issue at the moment, sorry i cant help

Moin Hennes, did you set up the Career start correctly? What are your settings before you start a Career with Borussia?? The thing my question is related to is you must choose for the very first season no european tournament, instead of the old times choosing it to have a "normal" european tournament in CL or EL. It was just totally confusing, as the European games only appear during the season (not at the beginning) ....

If you haven´t installed custom Stadiums from the Stadiums section here at the FIFA 16 Forum you´ll have only the genreic FIFA 16 default Stadiums and of course some real Stadiums depending where EA has the mood to add them to the Game. Italy original Stadiums are a.e. San Siro, G.Meazza, Roma and Lazio´s Olympico, Juventus Stadium. But a.e. you are playing with or vs Lecce I doubt the real Stadium is made by EA. Instead you play in generic Stadiums like Sanderson Park or court lane etc.
But it´s easy to add Stadiums made by Modders. Many Stadiums you can put in sceneasetts/Stadiums Folder. An other nice way to have many custom Stadiums is via the Stadium Server Tool for FIFA 16. called CGFS 16.

I didn't think of using CM 16 to troubleshoot my crash.

I started a career with Pisa in Serie B and I'm facing an issue with the referee kits and the kit numbers. I participated in a pre season tournament and in the first match with a German team, all the kit numbers are replaced with green blocks and all the referees and linesmen have blue and green blocks as their kits. I'll send a screenshot as soon as I get home.
