Like I said previously as a "suggestion" to @scouser09 that, "less is more". Quality over quantity. There's no point adding so many leagues, teams, etc. and at the end, the game decides to crash in between due to compdata and other limitations. The time and effort really isn't worth it. Don't get me wrong, I love what you and your team are doing to make sure that FIFA 16 won't die. But you should streamline versions and save your valuable time, in my opinion.

I've added identifyGK(ID) text in bulk to my lua files for players with real faces to make sure that the bench door will be wearing a goalkeeping shirt that I hope everyone will use. Note that I only added ones that I have a real face shape, make sure your player ID is that the player has a real face shape to avoid headless situations.

Bro this broke my heart so much. I had a great season with Nottingham, the game decided to crash mid April…(spent a week playing though)

What I do now, I choose my team then first sim entire season to see if it won’t crash.

That's exactly what I did (I simulated a season before starting), since the same thing happened to me with a career mode that started with Lazio...
Hopefully, version 8.1 will come out soon to fix that problem.

I wrote the program using AI, and it works perfectly on my computer with all brackets properly closed. I'm not sure if it's due to my Chinese-language system settings, but could you try writing one yourself?

Does anyone know how to make the game less laggier? Before installing the patch I could get 70+ fps on lowest settings and 720p, now I can barely get 20-30 on same settings.

If it matters, I have 8 gb ram and Ryzen 5 5500U cpu (with integrated graphics card). I can run fifa 17/18 at 720p 60 fps no problem.

EDIT: Never mind, I got the game to lag a bit less (40-50 fps) by unchecking core 0 in the cpu affinity (task manager -> details -> right click on fifa16.exe).

I didn't find a 100% working solution, the game is just really buggy for certain hardware configurations and it seems that there is no way to fix that. However there are some things you can do to somewhat alleviate the problem.

Use this mod. It will increase your fps by quite a bit, but the stutters will still likely remain. And the game will look a fair bit uglier. I know you said you've tried everything, but I'll suggest you to lower the resolution to 720p and set the graphic config to low. And experiment with the vsync and FPS cap settings. If your drivers aren't updated update them as well.

Also if you're fine with FIFA 14, there's a similar patch (FIP 14 v8) for that game that updates it to the 24/25 season. You should try that, it doesn't suffer from any FPS related problems at all.

I don't know whether you tried this software or not but for 99% of controller problems with dualsense/dualshock, DS4Windows is the answer. Also this shouldn't matter but you can try using the cable for the dualsense instead of bluetooth that is less error prone.

If nothing else works you can try adding FIFA 16 as a game in your Steam library, then enable steam input. But DS4Windows should definitely fix your problem.

Gracias, I finally managed to add it to Steam, and my controller works perfectly except for controlling the goalkeeper, but it’s not essential.

Another thing: how do I add the balls from the pack?


I copied all of them from the folder and pasted them into sceneassets/balls, then regenerated, but nothing happens.


Should I copy the entire folder or just the individual ball files inside?
