Error code d3Dcomier_46.dll

Yesterday I changed my fifa 16 to a new hard drive and now I got the

code reason code =missing dll [d3Dcomier_46.dll] error 0x7E

it comes up in the grey EA tablad.

Any of you guys who can help me with this?
 
the D3D prefix sounds like a DirectX problem.
Reinstall DirectX. If it doesnt fix the problem, download the dll file from the internet and paste it to your game folder. I know downloading dlls arent safe but thats how i solved most of my FIFA related dll problems.

I saw different links for DirectX, I have no experience with those kind of things. Do you have the most recent download link? The last option I tried already, but didn’t help..

DirectX 11 can be found inside the __Installer Folder in your FIFA 16 directory.
and you can downloaded the dll file manually from this website:

This didn't help. But I got something very interesting..

Before this all happend I made a orginal copy of the game, it has the same error code when I tried to start it like my own game folder. (You guys know me hopfully, I have the real version of the game).

Now what i did was installing a whole new fifa 16 folder, from the EA app. It is literllay the same as the orginal copy that I al ready had. With the new downloaded fifa 16 game, it starts, when i try to open my orginal one, it doesnt.. How weird is that?
 
if you use windows 11 try to
right click the game executable or shortcut then go to properties compatibility tab then
check run this program in compatibility mode then
choose Windows 7
click Apply and then OK

I think your problem is caused by the C disk. I had the same error. I deleted it and downloaded it from the beginning. If you ask why, the update is coming to the EA file and the source of the file changes, that is, its location changes. That happened to me too. It puts it in the C file. Check the program files.

I mate, really thanks for the help. Can you be a bit more specific of what I should do? What file should I delete or remove or replace ?

My friend, FIFA 16 file is in which disc, C or D or E? Uninstall it from control panel program, but first backup the data file, the program files in my C disc appear as fifa 16.

DB file inside the data file is not broken if it is broken, from the beginning to Asagıya ea App Installer Fifa 16 from scratch and download to the machine why you need to install FIP 16 wants tha
 
Hi Mate @JochemLFC2 could you solve your Problem in the meantime? When a dll error occurs I always get reminds me that when things like this pop ups a notification some AntiVirus softwares are responsible for that. Do you use a specific Version other than Windows Defender. Don´t worry, I fully understand you use legit Game Version and it´s not likely that a antivirus software deletes your files, but since you get a lot of fix and workaround advices which seems not work, it´s maybe an solution which seems more far away. When I mod other Games like FIFA/FC I often must learned in the past that nothing is impossible as a fix. :D

One last question: Is your new Drive where now your FIFA 16 is installed "free accessable". I mean in the properties of the drive itself like you can see on my screenshot below. If not I often have simialr issues untill I set the drives security settings to free.

Below you see my G drive says "not released". ANd my K drives properties says "used common". Recently my G drive gives me similar problems untill I set it to "used common". Maybe you wanna try that, than: right click on your drive - search for the "release" tab - and release the drive. It tooks some seconds to complete, depend how much files on this drive. But you can see the progress as well.
I really don´t know if this could be a solution, but it´s odd to me that you can´t play your Game just because you move to another drive on your PC and getting this error you mentioned. In those cases I go through every lil opportunity. :)
